The 2023 African Women's Youth Handball Championship is currently being held in Monastir, Tunisia from 16 to 23 September 2023. [1] It acts as a qualification tournament for the 2024 Women's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in China.
The draw was held on 8 August 2023 at the CAHB headquarters in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. [2]

The 2009 World Women's Handball Championship was the 19th edition, second to take place outside Europe, of the international championship tournament in women's team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). China hosted the event from 5-20 December 2009. Russia successfully contested France in the final, their fourth title.
The 2015 Men's Youth World Handball Championship was the sixth edition of the IHF Men's Youth World Championship, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia from 7 to 20 August 2015. France won their first title by defeating Slovenia 33–26 in the final.
