Format: Round-robin basis. Three pools of three teams and one pool of four teams and nations will play each team once in their pool. Nations finishing first of each pool will enter promotional play-offs, with the first of Pool A facing the first of Pool D and the first of Pool B facing the first of Pool C, and the two winners will be promoted to Asia/Oceania Zone Group IV in 2024.

The AFC Challenge Cup was an international football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member countries that was categorised as "emerging countries" in the "Vision Asia" programme. It was created by former AFC president Mohammed Bin Hammam as the AFC's plan for a continent-wide programme to raise the standards of Asian football. The AFC Challenge Cup was created for teams to experience playing in a continental competition, with the possibility to win an AFC trophy and potentially discover new talents.
The Badminton Asia is the governing body of badminton in Asia. It is one of the 5 continental bodies under the flag of the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The confederation was established in 1959, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia until it was moved to Maldives briefly in 2021. In 2023, it was announced that it would be moved back to Malaysia. It aims to maintain Asia as the benchmark for world badminton in many years to come. It now has 43 member federations.
