MetroLink is a light rail system that serves the Greater St. Louis area. Green Line of Namma Metro was built along with the Purple Line during the first phase of construction of the metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The Foothill Extension is a construction project extending the light rail A Line, a part of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The project begins at the former terminus of the former Gold Line at Sierra Madre Villa station in Pasadena and continues east through the "Foothill Cities" of Los Angeles County. The plan's first stage, "Phase 2A", extended the then-Gold Line to APU/Citrus College station in Azusa; it opened on March 5, 2016. The first part of "Phase 2B" will extend the now A Line a further four stations to Pomona–North station on the Metrolink San Bernardino Line in Pomona, broke ground in December 2017 and is planned for completion in early-January 2025. The second part of Phase 2B will further extend the line two stations to Montclair Transcenter in Montclair, located in San Bernardino County, is planned to break ground in spring 2025 and be completed in 2030.

Metro Parkway is an elevated light rail station on the Valley Metro Rail system in Phoenix. It is the northwestern terminus of the Northwest Extension Phase II and the current northwestern terminus of the Valley Metro Rail system. The station is located on the east side of the former Metrocenter mall and includes a park and ride facility and relocated bus transit hub, which was renamed to the Thelda Williams Transit Center after the late interim mayor. It is the first elevated station in the system and opened on January 27, 2024.
