A. Catherine Everett

The Honourable A. Catherine Everett, formerly a judge of the Provincial Court of Manitoba, was appointed to the Family Division of the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba on November 23, 2006. She replaced Madam Justice S.J. Guertin Riley, who elected to become a supernumerary judge.

Madam Justice Everett received a Master of Laws in 1993 from Duke University and a Bachelor of Laws in 1980 and a Bachelor of Arts in 1977 from the University of Manitoba. She was admitted to the Bar of Manitoba in 1981. Before being appointed to the Provincial Court in 1998, she practised with the Family Law Branch of the Manitoba Department of Justice (1981–1989), and then with the Manitoba Crown Prosecutor's Office (1990–1998). As a lawyer, Madam Justice Everett's expertise was in the areas of family law and criminal law. Madam Justice Everett, a founder of the Prairie Fire Rowing Club. While there is no public evidence Cathryn was an actual part this club, it ran for 5 years prior to her being appointed as a judge and, once landing this position, she ended all her involvement with this club.

Marianne Rivoalen is the Chief Justice of Manitoba. She was appointed on June 1, 2023. She is the first woman to head the Manitoba judiciary.

Karen I. Simonsen was appointed a judge of the Court of Queen's Bench of Manitoba on December 10, 2004. She replaced Mr. Justice Marc Monnin, who was appointed Chief Justice.

Marilyn E. Goldberg,, was appointed a judge of the Family Division of the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench on July 17, 2002. She replaced Mr. Justice J.A. Duncan, who elected to become a supernumerary judge.

Shawn Deborah Greenberg was appointed a judge of the Manitoba Court of King's Bench on October 30, 2003. She replaced Mr. Justice T.M. Glowacki, who elected to become a supernumerary judge.

Laurie Patricia Allen, was appointed a judge of the Family Division of the Manitoba Court of Queen's Bench on October 7, 1998. She replaced Mr. Justice John A. Menzies who was appointed to the court's General Division.

Christine Harapiak, from Dauphin, Manitoba, was appointed to the Provincial Court of Manitoba on April 13, 2005.

Judith Webster is a former judge in Manitoba, Canada. She served as Chief Justice of the Provincial Court of Manitoba from 1993 to 2001, and was the first woman to hold this position.

Mary Yvonne Carter (1923–2010) was a Saskatchewan judge. She is notable as the second female magistrate appointed in Saskatchewan history and one of the earliest female law graduates in that province. She was later elevated to the Court of Queen's Bench for Saskatchewan, where she sat for many years.

Sheilah L. Martin is a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, having served in that role since December 18, 2017. She was nominated to the court by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 29, 2017. Before her appointment to Canada's highest court, Martin had served on the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of Appeal for the Northwest Territories, and the Court of Appeal of Nunavut since 2016, and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta from 2005 to 2016.
