The Accademia Musicale Mediterranea (English: Mediterranean Musical Academy) is a music institute in Rome, Taranto, Martina Franca, Leporano and Fardella, Italy. It was founded by Cosimo Damiano Lanza in 1996 as a national centre for advanced musical studies. It is located in the Palazzo Lanza in Leporano near Taranto. Every year, the Academy organises Piano Master Classes. During the summer months a series of concerts are held un dee the title of Emozioni Concertistiche – Young Pianists Festival. Annually it hosts students from all over Europe and the Orient. Since 2004 it has synergistic collaborations with universities, conservatories and schools: Brigham Young University, USA ; Münchener Musikseminar in Munich, Germany; Conservatory of Gap; France, Conservatorios of S. Javier; Spain, Bocconi University, Milan; the Conservatory " Pedrollo " Vicenza; Conservatory "N. Piccinni ", Bari; International Academy of Arts in Rome, Italy. The director is prof. Cosimo Damiano Lanza and the president is prof. Valter Monteleone .

Balázs Fülei was born in Kecskemét, Hungary 1984. He started to learn music at the age of eight, his first teacher was Katonáné Szabó Judit. In the Bartók Conservatory, Budapest, his professors were Gábor Eckhardt and Balázs Réti, then he made his diploma with honours at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, 2008 in György Nádor, Márta Gulyás and Balázs Réti’s class. Balázs Fülei was an active participant in prof. Amadeus Webersinke, Florent Boffard, Ferenc Rados, Gábor Csalog, Norma Fischer, Zoltán Kocsis, Bertrand Ott, Jan Marisse Huizing, Jan Wijn, Boris Berman and György Kurtág's piano and chamber music courses. Balázs Fülei is living an active musical life as a concert pianist, he gave several concerts almost in every country in Europe, in China, Japan, Australia and in the United States. He was an artist of the International Miami Piano Festival, and the Ferruccio Busoni Festival. He won the 1st prize on the 10th Hungarian National Piano Competition, and in the Andor Földes Piano Competition of Liszt Academy of Music in 2003. He was the winner of the 43. "Arcangelo Speranza" International Piano Competition in Taranto Italy, May 2005, 3rd prize winner of the 25. International Piano Competition „Ettore Pozzoli” in Milan-Seregno in 2007. In 2007 Balázs Fülei got a special prize in the 13. International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He was selected twice to the New Masters On Tour by The International Holland Music Sessions in The Netherlands and played in 2007 in the Concertgebouw, Diligentia Den Haag and other capitals in Europe. He performed in a DVD recording in May 2006 in Tokyo, Japan with the ballades of Chopin and Liszt, then made his New York debut in Carnegie Hall, 2008. Balázs Fülei plays chamber and contemporary music many times, he played world prémieres of Hungarian composers. He is an artist of the Starlet Music Management.

Giuseppe Siboni Italian opera singer

Giuseppe Siboni was an Italian operatic tenor, opera director, choir conductor, and voice teacher. He began his career in his native country in 1797 and actively performed in major Italian opera houses up through 1818. From 1806 to 1809 he performed successfully in London, and from 1810 to 1814 he was active in Vienna, where he enjoyed the friendship of Ludwig van Beethoven. He played a critical role in Danish musical life from 1819 until his death in 1839. In 1819 he joined the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen, where he worked first as a singer and later as director of the opera chorus and head director. In 1827 he founded the Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen. He was married three times during his life, including his second marriage to the sister of poet Franz von Schober. His third marriage produced a son, the composer and pianist Erik Siboni (1828–1892).

The Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Gioachino Rossini" is a music conservatory in Pesaro, Italy. Founded in 1869 with a legacy from the composer Gioachino Rossini, the conservatory officially opened in 1882 with 67 students and was then known as the Liceo musicale Rossini. By 2010 it had an enrollment of approximately 850 students studying for higher diplomas in singing, instrumental performance, composition, musicology, choral conducting, jazz or electronic music. The conservatory also trains music teachers for secondary schools and holds regular master classes. Its seat is the 18th century Palazzo Olivieri–Machirelli on the Piazza Oliveri in Pesaro. Amongst its past Directors are the composers Carlo Pedrotti, Pietro Mascagni, Riccardo Zandonai and Franco Alfano. Mascagni's opera Zanetto had its world premiere at the conservatory in 1896.
