Addis Fortune (also known as Fortune) is a private and independent newspaper based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
It is the largest English-language weekly in the country. Its circulation is often quoted at a meager 7,500 copies per week in a country with a population of 100 million. However, its rival, Capital, which is also based in Addis Ababa, recently claimed to have topped Fortune in circulation in a project launched to celebrate its ten-year anniversary. Fortune still claims to be the largest circulating paper in its category, surpassing all others in the competition by an average of 60%. Its current editor-in-chief is Hagos Gebreamlak.
The newspaper was first issued in the year 2000. Making it the 14th or 15th newspaper to be issued in Ethiopia.
Transport in Ethiopia is overseen by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Over the last years, the Ethiopian federal authorities have significantly increased funding for rail and road construction to build an infrastructure, that allows better economic development.

The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) is the largest commercial bank in Ethiopia. As of June 2021, it had about 1.1 trillion birr in assets and held approximately 67% of deposits and about 53% of all bank loans in the country. The bank has around more than 35,000 employees as of June 2022, who staff its headquarters and its over 1000+ branches positioned in the main cities and regional towns. The latter include 120 branches in the national capital Addis Ababa. With the opening of a branch in the Gechi in the Illubabor Zone, CBE's banking network has reached online 783 branches. The bank has reached more than 1950 branches as of 10 August 2022.
The mass media in Ethiopia consist of radio, television and the Internet, which remain under the control of the Ethiopian government, as well as private newspapers and magazines. Ten radio broadcast stations, eight AM and two shortwave, are licensed to operate in Ethiopia. The major radio broadcasting stations include Radio Fana a private station, Radio Voice of One Free Ethiopia, and the Voice of the Revolution of Tigray. The only terrestrial (broadcast) television networks are government owned and include EBC and other regional stations. In keeping with government policy, radio broadcasts occur in a variety of languages including Amharic, Afaan Oromo, Tigrigna, and more. There are also many video sharing websites which are a popular way of getting information as well as entertainment in Ethiopia.
Welkait is a woreda in Western Zone, Tigray Region. This woreda is bordered to the north by Humera and to the south by Tsegede. It is bordered on the east by the North West Zone; the woredas of Tahtay Adiyabo and Asgede Tsimbla lie to the north-east, on the other side of the Tekezé River, and Tselemti to the east. The administrative center of Welkait is Addi Remets; other towns in the woreda include Mai'gaba and Awura.

Being the state largest military industrial complex, it is responsible for the production of military equipment and civilian products. The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Headquarters is a skyscraper in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that was completed on 13 February 2022 and became the tallest building in Ethiopia. It serves as the headquarters of the state-owned Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, the country's largest bank. It also is the tallest building in all of East Africa.

Zeynu Jemal Ummer is an Ethiopian diplomat and statesman who is the current Director of the UNDP Resilience Hub for Africa since 2024. Previously, he served as Team Lead and Senior Chief Technical Adviser for the UNDP Africa Borderlands Centre based in Nairobi, Kenya. Before joining the United Nations, he was a State Minister for Peace in Ethiopia from 2018 to 2019, and Head of the Ethiopian Refugee Agency and most notably, the Commissioner General of the Ethiopian Federal Police in 2018.
Hilton Addis is a private international hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia owned by Hilton Worldwide. It was opened during the Emperor Haile Selassie regime in 1969, after a 50-year management contract signed between the Hilton Worldwide and the Ethiopian government that would proscribe other branding outside Worldwide permission.
