The Regina Rams represent the University of Regina, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. The Rams joined U Sports in 1999 and have competed in the Canada West Conference since then. The program has won one U Sports football conference championship, in 2000, and the team has made one appearance in the Vanier Cup championship game.
The Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) is a national Major Junior Canadian football league consisting of 19 teams playing in five provinces across Canada. The teams compete annually for the Canadian Bowl. Many CJFL players move on to professional football careers in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and elsewhere.
Marc Parenteau is a former professional Canadian football offensive lineman who last played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted 36th overall by the Ottawa Renegades in the 2003 CFL Draft. He was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders to a contract on February 12, 2007, where he played in 3 Grey Cup Championships and played for five seasons before being released on February 10, 2012. He was soon after signed by the Toronto Argonauts on February 13, 2012 Parenteau quickly established himself as a starter along the offensive line for the Argos and went on to win the 100th Grey Cup with them. On September 9, 2013, Parenteau was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, along with a 3rd round draft pick in 2014, in exchange for running back Anthony Woodson and a fifth round draft pick in 2014. To focus on his growing real estate business he retired from the CFL after 9 years in January 2014 after winning 2 Grey Cups and playing in over 130 CFL games. He is the only offensive lineman to ever score a touchdown in a Grey Cup game (2010). Before his CFL career, Marc was a 2 time All-Star lineman with the Boston College Eagles from 1999-2003.
Daryl Stephenson is a former professional Canadian football running back. He was originally drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2008 and played with that franchise for three seasons. Stephenson then played for two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats before signing with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played collegiately for the University of Windsor Lancers.

He played CIS football for the Regina Rams. On February 26, 2010 Stan was traded to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for import defensive end Gavin Walls.
John Hashem is a former professional Canadian football offensive tackle. He last played for the Montreal Alouettes. In 2010, he was signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers but was eventually released. He was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the third round of the 2009 CFL Draft. He played CIS football for the Regina Rams and was briefly on the roster for the Saskatchewan Roughriders
Christopher Greaves is a Canadian former professional football offensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected 45th overall by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a defensive lineman in the 2010 CFL Draft, but made the switch to offence in training camp. He played CIS football for the Western Mustangs and high school football for St. Francis Xavier Secondary School.
Patrick Neufeld is a professional Canadian football offensive lineman for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a two-time Grey Cup champion having won the 107th Grey Cup and 108th Grey Cups as a member of the Blue Bombers. He played college football for the Saskatchewan Huskies football team from 2008 to 2011. He played high school football at Luther College in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Jade Etienne is a former Canadian football wide receiver. In the Canadian Football League’s Amateur Scouting Bureau December rankings, he was ranked as the 15th best player for players eligible in the 2011 CFL Draft. Etienne was drafted fourth overall in the draft by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and signed a contract with the team on June 1, 2011. He played CIS football with the Saskatchewan Huskies and played high school football at Luther College in Regina. He was traded to the Roughriders for quarterback Drew Willy on February 6, 2014. Etienne was released prior to the start of the 2014 CFL regular season.

He was originally drafted by Toronto Argonauts, where he won his first Grey Cup championship in 2012. He played CIS football for the Laval Rouge et Or. He has also played for the Ottawa Redblacks.

He played CIS football for the Queen's Golden Gaels in Canadian Interuniversity Sport football.

Nic Demski is a Canadian football slotback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Demski won the 107th and 108th Grey Cups with his hometown Blue Bombers, both times defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Dan Kearns was a Canadian football defensive lineman who played ten seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was drafted by the Edmonton Eskimos in the second round of the 1980 CFL Draft. He played CIS football at Simon Fraser University and attended Wexford High school in Scarborough, Ontario. Dan's twin brother Steve also played in the CFL. Kearns died of pancreatic cancer in 2022.
