Ahillya Harjani (born 6 March 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra) is an Indian badminton player. [1]
Harjani has represented India in the junior event at the Dutch open, German open and BWF Junior World Championships. In 2013, she was inducted into the Gopichand Badminton Academy, Hyderabad. Until then she was a district and state level player. At the State mixed doubles, triumphant, she got the opportunity to represent her state at the 37th Junior Nationals in Chandigarh November 2013 where she won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles. [2] She started playing at an All India level in the year 2014, winning a silver medal at All India Ranking Tournaments in the mixed doubles. Being the most consistent player, she ended the year as India junior No. 1 in the mixed doubles. In the year 2015, she won gold medals in all the All India Ranking Tournaments in the mixed doubles . She also won a gold medal at the 40th Junior Nationals in Jaipur, India in the mixed doubles. Harjani ended the year 2015 as the No.1 junior ranked in mixed doubles in India. [3] [4]

Aparna Balan is an Indian badminton player from Kozhikode, Kerala. She was part of the national team that won the silver medal in 2010 Commonwealth Games, also gold medals in 2004, 2006 and 2010 South Asian Games. She is 6 times National Champion in mixed doubles and 3 times National Champion in women's doubles. She represented India in many international badminton tournaments.
Ashwini Ponnappa Machimanda is an Indian badminton player who represents the country at the international badminton circuit in both the women's and mixed doubles disciplines. She had a successful partnership with Jwala Gutta as the pair has won many medals in international events including a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and bronze medals at the Uber Cup and the Asian Badminton Championships. They were consistently ranked among the top 20 in the BWF World Ranking reaching as high as no. 10. Ponnappa and Gutta also won the bronze medal at the BWF World Championships in 2011, becoming the first Indian pair and women and only the second overall to win a medal at the World Championships.

Dechapol Puavaranukroh is a Thai badminton player. He was a gold medalist at the 2014 BWF World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event with his partner Kittinupong Kedren. Puavaranukroh claimed doubles titles at the 2017 SEA Games by winning the gold medal in the men's doubles with Kedren and in the mixed doubles with Sapsiree Taerattanachai. Wakana Nagahara is a Japanese badminton player. She is a two-time world champion in the women's doubles. Nagahara attended Aomori Yamada High School, and was part of the Japanese national junior team that won the bronze medals at the 2013, 2014 Asian and 2014 World Junior Championships. She won her first senior international title at the 2014 Smiling Fish International in the women's doubles event partnered with Mayu Matsumoto. In national events, she plays for the Hokuto Bank team. Nagahara was awarded as the 2018 Most Improved Player of the Year by the BWF together with her partner Mayu Matsumoto. They obtained the honour after winning the 2018 BWF World Championships title and improving their ranking from 14 to 3 in the world. On 30 April 2019, she reached a career high as the women's doubles world No. 1.
Du Yue is a Chinese badminton player. She won the silver medal at the 2014 Asian Junior Championships in the girls' doubles event partnered with Li Yinhui. She and Li then made it to the gold medal 2015. Du also claimed the girls' doubles gold in 2016 partnered with Xu Ya and doubled-up the title winning mixed doubles gold with He Jiting. She and He Jiting captured the gold medal at the 2016 World Junior Championships, which in the previous year they won the silver medal.
