Aiman was an Indonesian flagship television Investigation news program that broadcasts on Kompas TV. On January 19, 2015, it aired its first episode, Kisah Para Pahlawan dalam Tragedi Pesawat Air Asia QZ8501. [1] It selects the latest and best-selling news throughout the week to be aired more fully and deeply through the program airing Monday. [2]

This program contains a variety of current social issues that are a hot issue in the community, will be discussed in this program. Aiman Witjaksono will invite viewers of Kompas TV to understand various social or community issues in the style of journalistic investigation. [2]

In this program, Aiman will invite viewers to take part directly in the field, gather facts, and interview related people in an event.

This program ended on October 3, 2022 as Aiman resigned from Kompas TV a week later, on October 10, 2022 announcement from his Instagram. [3]

The Trisakti shootings, also known as the Trisakti tragedy, took place at Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia, on 12 May 1998. At a demonstration demanding President Suharto's resignation, Indonesian Army soldiers opened fire on unarmed protestors. Four students, Elang Mulia Lesmana, Heri Hertanto, Hafidin Royan, and Hendriawan Sie, were killed and dozens more were injured. The shootings triggered a riot and nationwide revolutionary wave, eventually leading to Suharto's resignation.

Second Sergeant Usman bin Haji Muhammad Ali, also spelt Osman bin Haji Mohamed Ali, was an Indonesian marine and convicted murderer. He uses the aliases Janatin or Usman Janatin during his task of bombing the MacDonald House, which killed three people and injured 33 other people. Usman was executed alongside his accomplice Harun Said for the murders of the three deceased victims from the MacDonald House bombing.

Indonesia AirAsia Flight 8501 was a scheduled international passenger flight operated by Indonesia AirAsia from Surabaya, Java, Indonesia, to Singapore. On 28 December 2014, the Airbus A320 flying the route crashed into the Java Sea, killing all 162 people on board. When search operations ended in March 2015, only 116 bodies had been recovered.

Ganjar Pranowo is an Indonesian politician who served as the governor of Central Java between 2013 and 2023. He is a member of the nationalist Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P). Layangan Putus is an Indonesian drama streaming television series produced by Manoj Punjabi under MD Entertainment. Written by Oka Aurora and directed by Benny Setiawan, the story is based on a viral story that started with a story written on social media which was continued into a novel entitled Layangan Putus, written by the same person as pen name Mommy ASF. It starred Reza Rahadian, Putri Marino, and Anya Geraldine. The series premiered on WeTV and iflix as a WeTV original series on 26 November 2021, and also aired on RCTI on 9 February 2022. It went off-air on 22 January 2022.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Kanjuruhan Stadium disaster</span> 2022 association football match disaster

On 1 October 2022, a fatal human crush occurred following an association football match at Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. Following a loss by home side Arema to rivals Persebaya Surabaya, around 3,000 Arema supporters invaded the pitch. Police said that the rioting supporters attacked the players and the team officials. The police attempted to protect the players and stop the riot but the crowds clashed with the security forces. In response, riot police units deployed tear gas, which triggered a stampede of people in the stadium trying to escape from the effects of the gas. A crush formed at an exit, resulting in fans being asphyxiated.

Agak Laen is a 2024 Indonesian comedy horror film directed and written by Muhadkly Acho. The film was produced by Dipa Andika and Ernest Prakasa with Imajinari and Jagartha production companies. It starred Bene Dion, Boris Bokir, Oki Rengga, and Indra Jegel as a group of friends who started a haunted house business, and featuring Tissa Biani, Indah Permatasari, Arie Kriting, and Mamat Alkatiri.

Shanna Shannon Siswanto is an Indonesian actress, singer, and YouTuber. In 2017, Anies Baswedan appointed Shannon as an ambassador of the Indonesian National Anthem.
