Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District is one of the twenty-two districts in Central Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, which was created from the Breman-Ajumako-Enyan District Council from 1974 to 1978. The district assembly was located in the northeast part of Central Region and had Ajumako as its capital town.
The University of Education, Winneba has a campus at Ajumako. The natives are Fante except the people of Breman Essiam who trace their lineage to Breman, near Kumasi. The main occupation of the people is farming with emerging markets at Breman Essiam and Ajumako. The current Member of parliament of the district is Cassiel Ato Forson. [2]

The Central Region is one of the sixteen administrative regions of Ghana. It is bordered by Ashanti and Eastern regions to the north, Western region to the west, Greater Accra region to the east, and to the south by the Gulf of Guinea. The Central Region is renowned for its many elite high schools and an economy based on an abundance of industrial minerals and tourism. The Central region boasts of many tourist attractions such as castles, forts and beaches dotted along the region's coastline.
Volta Region is one of Ghana's sixteen administrative regions, with Ho designated as its capital. It is located west of Republic of Togo and to the east of Lake Volta. Divided into 25 administrative districts, the region is multi-ethnic and multilingual, including groups such as the Ewe, the Guan, and the Akan peoples. Ajumako is a town in Ghana. It is the capital of Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam district. It is famous for being the birthplace of Ottobah Cugoano, an abolitionist of the 18th century.

Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, which was created from the Breman-Ajumako-Enyan District Council from 1974 to 1978. The district assembly was located in the northeast part of Central Region and had Breman Asikuma as its capital town.
Pru District is a former district that was located in Brong-Ahafo Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Atebubu District on 10 March 1989, until the northern part was split off to create Pru District; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Atebubu-Amantin District, which it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 15 March 2018 to become Atebubu-Amantin Municipal District. However on 15 March 2018, it was split off into two new districts: Pru East District and Pru West District. The district assembly was located in the east central part of Brong-Ahafo Region and had Yeji as its capital town.

Breman Asikuma is a town in Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa District, Central Region, Ghana. The town is known for the Breman Asikuma Senior High School. The school is a second cycle institution.
The Oti Region is one of the six newly created regions of Ghana in December 2018. The region was carved out of the northern part of the Volta Region and will be in fulfillment of a campaign promise made by New Patriotic Party. Prior to the 2016 Ghanaian general election, the then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo declared that when elected, he would explore the possibility of creating new regions out of some of the existing regions in Ghana in order to bring government closer to citizens. The Region was inaugurated on May 14, 2019. It has Dambai as its Regional Capital. The people of Oti region have for more than 60 years always wanted to have a region of their own before its creation in 2018 by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led government in December 2018.
Ekumfi District is one of the twenty-two districts in Central Region, Ghana. It was formerly part of a then-larger Mfantsiman Municipality, which was also formed from the former Mfantsiman District Council. Ekumfi District was created when the eastern part of the Mfantsiman Municipality was split off on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been retained as the Mfantsiman Municipal District. The district is located in the south-central part of Central Region and has Essarkyir as its capital town.

Dr. Forson first joined the Fifth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, before retaining his seat for the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana and the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam Constituency in the Central Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In 2013 he served as the deputy minister for Finance.
Isaac Eduasar Edumadzi was a Ghanaian politician and a member of the New Patriotic Party. He was the Member of Parliament for the Ejumako/Enyan/Essiam in the Central region. He served under the administration of the former president John Agyekum Kufour in the fourth parliament of the fourth Republic of Ghana.
Ablekuma Central Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Accra Metropolitan District in 1988, until a small portion of the district was split off to create Ablekuma Central Municipal District on 19 February 2019; thus the remaining part has been retained as Accra Metropolitan District. The municipality is located in the central part of Greater Accra Region and has Lartebiokorshie as its capital town.
