Akhtar Khan is a Pakistani politician from Swat District. He is currently serving as member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and chairman ddac swat since Feb 2024.
He contested the 2024 general elections as a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf/Independent candidate from PK-5 Swat-III. He secured 24055 votes. His runner-up was Sanaullah Khan of JUI-F who secured votes. [1] [2]

On 5 August 2023,the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Therefore,elections have been delayed for several months,as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023,as announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
