The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a music festival which takes place every year during the second week of July in Llangollen, North Wales. It is one of several large annual Eisteddfodau in Wales. Singers and dancers from around the world are invited to take part in over 20 competitions followed each evening by concerts on the main stage. Over five thousand singers, dancers and instrumentalists from around 50 countries perform to audiences of more than 50,000 over the 6 days of the event.

The University of Michigan Men's Glee Club is an all-male glee club at the University of Michigan. With roots tracing back to 1859, it is the second oldest glee club in the United States and is the oldest student organization at the university. The club has won the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod on four separate occasions. Since 2018, the Club's musical director has been Mark Stover who has continued to expand the Club's repertoire and arranged performances.
Tirnavia is a mixed choir from Slovakia founded in 1988, on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of Trnava being granted free royal town privileges. The choir was founded by Gabriel Kalapoš. Following conductors were Andrej Rapant and Zuzana Holičková. Current conductor is Michal Stahl. Tirnavia's name is derived from the historical name of Trnava and Tirnavia confirms the rich tradition of choral singing in this town. The choir members are mostly students of universities.

The Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir, also known as the Fron Choir, is an amateur male voice choir based in the village of Froncysyllte, Wrexham County Borough, Wales, near Llangollen in Denbighshire. The village is famous as the site of Thomas Telford's Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The village's choir became notable when the Universal Music Group album Voices of the Valley was released in November 2006, reaching number 9 on the UK album chart. It became the fastest-selling classical record of all time, achieving gold status in three days and, by 2009, had sold over half a million copies. A second album, Voices of the Valley - Encore, was released in November 2007.

The Australian Voices are a national choir of young adult Australian singers directed by John Rotar and produced by Scott Griffin. The choir is prominent promoters and performers of Australian choral music, commissioning a number of works in their distinctive A cappella style. The choir has performed concerts throughout Australia, Europe, the United States, Central America, Canada and Asia. They have also performed for Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio live concerts, appeared at major concerts for festivals and events, and produced thirteen CDs and two kits on creative choral singing.
The New Zealand Youth Choir is a mixed choir consisting of around 50 singers, auditioned nationally every 3 years from around New Zealand. The choir accepts members aged between 18 and 25 at the time of audition, and places will generally be offered for three years.
Cytgan is a chamber choir whose members come from all over Wales and sing without a conductor. The Choir was established in 1999 while many of its members were in the National Youth Choir of Wales. The choir’s intention at the time was to ensure opportunities for its members to sing together all year round while continuing to develop their choral abilities and friendship. Since its inception Cytgan has gone from strength to strength, staging concerts around Wales and England, and has enjoyed considerable success in competitions. It is a regular competitor at Gŵyl Fawr Aberteifi, the annual Gŵyl Cerdd Dant and the National Eisteddfod of Wales. Cytgan won the youth choir competition at the National Eisteddfod at Meifod in 2003. The choir also brought the 2005 Llandeilo Music Festival to a close, and reached the final round of the S4C Cor Cymru 2005 mixed choir competition. The choir's CD, ‘Cytgan’, which was released by Fflach Records, has also been successful. The choir was also involved in the recording of Karl Jenkins latest CD, ‘Requiem’. Members of Cytgan have often been invited to participate in radio and television programmes.

He is currently conductor of Victoria Junior College choir, Victoria Chorale, Tanjong Katong Secondary School choir, Catholic High School choir, Victoria School choir and The Vocal Consort. An alumnus of Anglican High School and Temasek Junior College, he studied mathematics at the National University of Singapore and choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
