Biography
Alejandro Rozitchner has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
He is the author of the novels El despertar del joven que se perdió la revolución (1998), Pernicioso vegetal (1999), Bienvenidos a mi (2003), and La venganza del oyente, published in 2008. He also wrote Argentina Impotencia. De la producción de crisis, a la producción de país (2002), Amor y País. Manual de discusiones (2005), and Hijos sin dios. Cómo criar chicos ateos, with his wife, Ximena Ianantuoni.
As a professional scriptwriter, he has written humorous scripts for the shows El palacio de la risa, with Antonio Gasalla; La cueva del chancho, with Juan Acosta, and joined the scriptwriter's staff of El circo Romano, with Gerardo Romano.
In 1991 he was the bassist in the first album of Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, "Fabrico Cuero". Subsequently, in 2000, he recorded an album with the band Juan Acosta y los navegando por dentro, artistically led by Argentine actor and humorist Juan Acosta.
In radio, he was a columnist for Mario Pergolini' s program, Cual es, at the Rock and Pop. The columns of 2002, a series of national rock lyrics that were interpreted from a philosophical standpoint, were grouped together in the book Escuchá qué tema. La filosofía del rock nacional. The opinion columns of 2003, were published in his book Ideas falsas. Moral para gente que quiere vivir (2004).
In television, he hosted his own program, "100 volando TV," and during 2005 and 2006 he participated in "Hora Clave", Mariano Grondona's program.
He writes articles and opinion columns for various publications, such as La Nación newspaper, Noticias magazine, Diario Ciudadano de Mendoza and Cronista Comercial.
As an inspirational speaker, he works at companies giving lectures on enthusiasm and creativity. He also conducts workshops and courses on philosophy and writing.
He worked at the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

Luisa Valenzuela is a post-'Boom' novelist and short story writer. Her writing is characterized by an experimental style which questions hierarchical social structures from a feminist perspective. She is best known for her work written in response to the dictatorship of the 1970s in Argentina. Works such as Como en la guerra (1977), Cambio de armas (1982) and Cola de lagartija (1983) combine a powerful critique of dictatorship with an examination of patriarchal forms of social organization and the power structures which inhere in human sexuality and gender relationships.
Diamela Eltit is a Chilean writer and university professor. She is a recipient of the National Prize for Literature.
Republican Proposal is a centre-right political party in Argentina. It is usually referred to by its abbreviation, PRO. Mariano Grondona is an Argentine lawyer, sociologist, political scientist, essayist and commentator. He has been a journalist for several decades, appearing in print media and on television, and has written several books. He has also taught in several universities, both in Argentina and abroad.
Noé Jitrik was born in Argentina in 1928 and is one of Latin America's foremost literary critics. He is director of the Instituto de literatura hispanoamericana at the University of Buenos Aires, and was a notable participant in the cultural journal Contorno in the 1950s in Argentina.
Arturo Carrera is an Argentine poet born on 27 March 1948 in Coronel Pringles, Buenos Aires Province.
Martín Caparrós is a writer. His father was Antonio Caparrós, a renowned psychiatrist. Caparrós begun professional writing at age sixteen, shortly after graduating from high school at the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires. His first professional job in journalism was with the now defunct daily Noticias. In 1976, Caparrós fled to exile following the military coup led by General Jorge Rafael Videla. In Paris, he obtained a degree in history at the University of Paris. Caparrós would later relocate to Madrid, Spain. During the early 1980s, he resettled to Buenos Aires and since then he has produced a vast body of work including fiction and nonfiction alike.
The Argentina Bicentennial was a series of ceremonies, festivals, and observances celebrated on May 25, 2010, and throughout the year. They commemorated the 200th anniversary of the May Revolution, a sequence of historical events that led to the Viceroy Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros being ousted from office and replaced with the Primera Junta, the first national government.
The Inca plan was a proposal formulated in 1816 by Manuel Belgrano to the Congress of Tucumán, aiming to crown an Inca. After the Declaration of Independence of the United Provinces of South America, the Congress discussed the form of government that should be used. Belgrano proposed that the country be ruled by a Constitutional monarchy headed by an ethnic Inca. The proposal was supported by José de San Martín, Martín Miguel de Güemes and the northern provinces, but found strong resistance from Buenos Aires. The Congress would ultimately reject it, creating instead a Republican government.

Griselda Gambaro is an Argentine writer, whose novels, plays, short stories, story tales, essays and novels for teenagers often concern the political violence in her home country that would develop into the Dirty War. One recurring theme is the desaparecidos and the attempts to recover their bodies and memorialize them. Her novel Ganarse la muerte was banned by the government because of the obvious political message. Gambaro is Argentina's most celebrated playwright, and she was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1982, as well as many other prizes.
Arnaldo Calveyra was an Argentine poet, novelist and playwright, living in Paris since 1960. In 1999, Calveyra was made a Commander of the French Order of Arts and Letters for his contributions to the arts.

Alejandro Pablo Avelluto is a journalist and book editor who held the office of Minister for Culture of Argentina since 10 December 2015 to September 2018, appointed by Mauricio Macri. Between 2014 and 2015 he served as General Coordinator of the Public Media System of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

María Seoane is an Argentine economist, journalist, and writer who has ventured into film. She has won numerous awards and published eight books on political issues in Argentine history. She was the director of LRA Radio Nacional from 2009 until her resignation on 21 December 2015.
Clara Obligado Marcó del Pont is an Argentine-Spanish writer.
Fernando Nadra was an Argentine lawyer, journalist and public speaker. He was one of the most important leaders of the Partido Comunista Argentino and, from his Marxist ideological perspective, took part in most of the important political debates of his time. He stood out from other left-wing leaders of his time for his abilities as an organizer and collective activist, and his numerous attempts to promote agreement among different political sectors through pluralistic dialogue.
Mónica Weiss is an Argentinian illustrator, artist, writer and architect. She has illustrated more than 140 books and has actively worked for the rights of illustrators and to show the importance of illustration in Argentina.
Gisela Marziotta is an Argentine journalist, writer and politician, who is currently a member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires since 2020 for the Frente de Todos coalition.
