Ali is an Indonesian funk supergroup consisting of artist Arswandaru Cahyo with Kelompok Penerbang Roket member John Paul Patton and The Sigit member Absar Lebeh, formed in 2021. They joined the wave of "habibi funk" music, incorporating Middle Eastern music elements into funk and disco. [3]

History

Ali was formed in 2021 by additional member of Mooner and illustrator, Arswandaru Cahyo, with Kelompok Penerbang Roket vocalist John Paul Patton and Elephant Kind bassist Kevin Septanto. [4] They released their debut single "Dance, Habibi" the same year. [5]

In January 2023, Septanto was replaced by The Sigit member Absar Lebeh due to his busy schedule with Elephant Kind, and they released the single "Crystal Sand". [6] In February 2023, they embarked on an Australian concert tour. [7]

Their debut album, Malaka was released on 5 May 2023 through Anukara Records. [8] On 10 August 2023, they held the album showcase at the Jakarta Art Building. [9] In 2024, they went on a European and UK tour titled Echoes Tour, including dates and served as an opening act for Australian band Mildlife. [10] Ali went on to play at the 2024 Fuji Rock Festival, becoming the first ever Indonesian band to be featured in the festival's lineup.

Introduce Yourself is the second studio album by American rock band Faith No More, released in 1987. Due to the limited availability of the first album, We Care a Lot, many, including the band, once considered this Faith No More's true debut album. Being the group's major label debut, this album features better production than its predecessor, which is most evident on this album's version of the song "We Care a Lot," which also features updated, more topical, lyrics. It is the final album to feature vocalist Chuck Mosley before he was fired from Faith No More in 1988.

HMGNC is an Indonesian electronic and synth-pop band from Bandung, West Java. Named after Icelandic singer Björk’s 1997 album Homogenic, the band was formed in 2002 and changed the original band name to its present name in 2015. Original members are Risa Saraswati, Dina Dellyana and Grahadea Kusuf. HMGNC perform songs in both Indonesian and English and have produced four studio albums: Epic Symphony (2004), Echoes of the Universe (2006), Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom (2010), HMGNC (2017) and one EP: Let's Talk (2012).
