Mainland Tactix are a New Zealand netball team based in Christchurch, Canterbury. Between 1998 and 2007, as Canterbury Flames, they played in the Coca-Cola Cup/National Bank Cup league. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Between 2008 and 2012 they were known as Canterbury Tactix. However, after Netball Mainland was established in October 2012, the team subsequently adopted their current name. Netball Mainland is the governing body that represents the South Island regions of Canterbury, West Coast, Nelson and Marlborough. Since 2017, Tactix have represented Netball Mainland in the ANZ Premiership. During the ANZ Championship era, Tactix won just 20 of their 114 games and never featured in a finals series. However, during the ANZ Premiership era they emerged as challengers. They were grand finalists in both 2020 and 2021
The Western Flyers were a New Zealand netball team which represented most of the Central, Southern and Eastern North Island in the National Bank Cup. The team was formed in 1998 and played all ten seasons of the competition. At the end of the 2007, the Flyers merged with the Capital Shakers to form the Central Pulse, one of five New Zealand teams in the ANZ Championship, which commenced in 2008.
Central Pulse are a New Zealand netball team based in Wellington. Between 2008 and 2016, they played in the ANZ Championship. Since 2017 they have represented Netball Central in the ANZ Premiership. Netball Central is the governing body that represents the Hawke's Bay, Manawatū-Whanganui, Taranaki and Wellington Regions. Pulse were 2019, 2020 and 2022 ANZ Premiership winners. They also won the 2018 Netball New Zealand Super Club tournament.

Joline Henry is a New Zealand former netball player. Henry was a member of the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, and has played for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic (2008-2009) and the Northern Mystics (2010-2011) in the ANZ Championship. In 2012, Henry played with the Central Pulse for the 2012 ANZ Championship.
Jodi Anne Brown is a retired New Zealand netball player. Brown was a member of the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns from 2002 to 2015, taking time off in between those periods due to injury and pregnancy, earning 61 caps. She has also played elite domestic netball in New Zealand for 13 years, and has signed with the Southern Steel for 2014. She played for the Central Pulse in 2015 and was getting set to play her final season in 2016 before she injured her ACL in the preseason and decided to retire from domestic netball after she had retired from international netball in 2015. In 2015, Jodi began co-coaching at St Hilda's Collegiate, Dunedin with the year nine A team. She has since followed this team through the years, which included a devastating 1 point loss in the SISS final. In 2018, Brown coached the St Hilda's Senior A team and also coached the Dunedin U17 team to 11th place at Nationals.
Sonia Mkoloma is a former English international netball player. Mkoloma made her international debut for the English national team in 1999, and during her career has competed at three Netball World Championships, three Commonwealth Games and two World Netball Series. In 2009, Mkoloma was part of the World 7 team, consisting of international players from England, Jamaica, Samoa as well as former Australian and New Zealand international players. In the domestic Netball Superleague she played with the Surrey Storm with best friend and fellow England defender Geva Mentor.
Katrina Rore is a New Zealand international netball player. Rore is the current vice-captain of the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, and plays for the Central Pulse in the ANZ Championship. Rore signed to the New South Wales swifts in the suncorp super netball league in the latter half of the 2018–2019 season following the netball World Cup.

Hayley Crofts is a New Zealand netball player. In 2008, she was signed to play for the Central Pulse in the ANZ Championship. Much of the team was replaced after a winless 2008 season, with Crofts not being re-signed for the 2009 season. The following year, she signed with the Canterbury Tactix for the 2010 season.

Kahurangi Waititi is a New Zealand netball player in the ANZ Championship. She signed with the Central Pulse for the 2008 season, but has been signed to play for the Canterbury Tactix in 2009.
The 2009 ANZ Championship season was the second season of the ANZ Championship. The 2009 season began on 4 April and concluded on 26 July. Melbourne Vixens were minor premiers. With a team co-captained by Bianca Chatfield and Sharelle McMahon, Vixens subsequently defeated Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic 58–43 in the major semi-final and Adelaide Thunderbirds 54–46 in the grand final to finish as overall premiers. The grand final was played on Sunday 26 July at Hisense Arena.
Althea Latoya Byfield is a Jamaican international basketball and netball player. Byfield has represented Jamaica in both sports, and is a current member of the Jamaican netball team.
Hannah Broederlow is a New Zealand netball player. Broederlow attended Palmerston North Girls' High School before continuing her studies at the University of Otago. During her high school years she played in the New Zealand Secondary Schools team (2004–05). She has played with the New Zealand U21 netball team since 2006, and was elevated to the New Zealand A squad in 2008. Broederlow was signed in 2007 to play with the Otago Rebels in the National Bank Cup. She was overlooked the next year for a spot in the inaugural ANZ Championship, but later received a callup from Yvette McCausland-Durie to play with the Central Pulse in 2009. Broederlow was also named in the New Zealand U21 team to compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands.
Larissa Harrison is a New Zealand netball player. Harrison has played with the New Zealand U21 netball team since 2008, and will compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands. She also signed with the Central Pulse in the 2009 ANZ Championship season, playing as a goal shooter.
Camilla Lees is a New Zealand netball player.
Chelsea Pitman is an Australian-born netball player representing the England National Netball Team internationally. She is currently contracted as a training partner for the West Coast Fever playing in the Suncorp Super Netball competition in Australia. West Coast Fever has just became premiers after winning the Suncorp Super Netball League 2022. She is predominantly a wing attack, but can also play goal attack.
