An Inconvenient Penguin is a short film, released online in Amazon's UnBox store on August 11, 2008. The film is a spoof of An Inconvenient Truth and March of the Penguins . It was produced by Precipice Productions and stars Lance Reifschneider, Rasika Mathur, Jenny Mollen, and Eric Matikosh.
Penguins are invading the shores of California causing overcrowding, excessive warmth and increasing crabbiness in general. Senator Al Gore warns us of the impending doom and what we can do to change the threat.
SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron is a 1993–1994 American animated television series created by Christian and Yvon Tremblay and produced by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons. Al Gore's Penguin Army is a two-minute-long satirical webvideo posted on YouTube on May 24, 2006, spoofing Al Gore and his movie An Inconvenient Truth. There is evidence that the video is a product of the dishonest marketing technique of astroturfing. Despite all appearances of being an amateur production, The Wall Street Journal discovered that the author of the video was using "a computer registered to DCI Group", a public relations and lobbying firm led exclusively by Republican party officials. At the time the video was made, DCI's clients included General Motors and ExxonMobil. DCI has refused to comment on its involvement with the video.
