History

The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (APEPDCL) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 as a Public Limited Company on 31 March, 2000 with headquarters at Visakhapatnam. [9] [10]

APEPDCL Network

APEPDCL encompasses in 11 districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The districts are Srikakulam, Alluri Sitharama Raju, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, East Godavari, Konaseema, Eluru and West Godavari. [11] [12] [13]

On 19 November 2023, at around 23:00 IST, a fire erupted at the Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour, leading to the complete destruction of 43 fishing boats, while an additional 15 boats damaged partially. Source from which fire triggered is unknown and was under police enquiry.

In 2024, he left the YSRCP and joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and contested the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election representing Mylavaram constituency on behalf of the TDP. He had unsuccessfully contested from Nandigama Assembly constituency on behalf of Indian National Congress in 1999.
