Andrew Brown (born 20 April 1980, in Pontypool) is a Welsh rugby union player. He played for Cross Keys RFC, Newport RFC and Newport Gwent Dragons. He was released by Newport Gwent Dragons at the end of the 2010-11 season and joined Newport RFC, playing 277 games. Newport RFC hall of fame 2015.
Dragons are one of the four professional rugby union regional teams in Wales. They are owned by the Welsh Rugby Union and play their home games at Rodney Parade, Newport and at other grounds around the region. They play in the Pro14 league and the European Rugby Champions Cup/European Rugby Challenge Cup. The region they represent covers an area of southeast Wales including Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen with a total population approaching 600,000 and they are affiliated with a number of semi-professional and amateur clubs throughout the area, including Welsh Premier Division sides Bedwas RFC, Cross Keys RFC, Ebbw Vale RFC and Newport RFC.
Jason Alistaire Forster is a former international Wales rugby union player. A flanker, he played his club rugby for Pontypridd RFC, Newport RFC and Newport Gwent Dragons. He moved on to be player - coach at Doncaster R.F.C. before returning to Wales to coach at Neath RFC.
Paul Turner is a former Wales international rugby union player and the former head coach of Welsh regional side Newport Gwent Dragons.
Shaun Connor is a former Wales 7s international rugby union player and current backs coach of the Russian National Team. He was part of the Ospreys team that defeated Australia, where he played a crucial role and was named Man Of The Match.
