Andrey Gyurov

pronounced [ɐn'drɛj'ɡʲurof] ; born 31 December 1975), is a Bulgarian politician who has served as Prime Minister of Bulgaria in 2026 leading a caretaker government.

Biography

He has been serving as a deputy governor of the Bulgarian National Bank since 2023. [1] From 2021 to 2023, he was a member of the National Assembly. [2] On 11 February 2026, President Iliana Iotova nominated Gyurov as caretaker prime minister pending the 2026 Bulgarian parliamentary election. [3] He was formally appointed the next week. [4]
