Eliksir (Elixir) is the second studio album by Norwegian hard rock band Skambankt. The first single "Tyster" received a decent amount of radio airplay, and it entered the Norwegian album charts on 8th place the week after its release. A video was made to promote the record's second single "Dynasti". The "Intro", which is the main riff of "Nok et Offer" played on church bells, was played on the bells of the clocktower of Oslo Rådhus in Oslo and recorded. "Nok et Offer" originally appeared on the Skamania EP, but was re-recorded for this album. The track "Siste Stikk" was recorded in the independent studio Suksesslaboratoriet rather than the Propeller Music Division Studio.

Gargantuavis is an extinct genus of large, primitive bird containing the single species Gargantuavis philoinos. It is the only member of the monotypic family Gargantuaviidae. Its fossils were discovered in several formations dating to 73.5 and 71.5 million years ago in what is now northern Spain, Southern France, and Romania. Gargantuavis is the largest known bird of the Mesozoic, a size ranging between the cassowary and the ostrich, and a mass of 141 kg (311 lb) like modern ostriches, exemplifying the extinction of non-avian dinosaurs wasn't a necessary condition for the emergence of giant terrestrial birds. Oddvar Bull Tuhus is a Norwegian film director, script writer and television worker. His film debut was Rødblått paradis from 1971. His Maria Marusjka from 1973 was awarded the Norwegian Film Critics' Prize. His film Streik! from 1974, based on a novel by Tor Obrestad, was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Tuhus was manager for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's department NRK Drama from 1994 to 2000. In his movie Hockey Fever, goaltender Jørn Goldstein has a central role.

Anxiety is an oil-on-canvas painting created by the expressionist artist Edvard Munch in 1894. It is now in the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway. Many art critics feel that Anxiety is closely related to Munch's more famous piece, The Scream (1893). The faces show despair and the dark colors show a depressed state. Many critics also believe it's meant to show the emotions of heartbreak and sorrow.

Svein Scharffenberg was a Norwegian actor and stage director. He was born in Oslo. He started his acting career at Den Nationale Scene in the season 1967–1968, and was assigned with Nationaltheatret from the next season. He joined Hålogaland Teater from its establishment in 1971. He staged Sukkerbrød med kaviar, written by Leonard Melfi, for Fjernsynsteatret in 1975. He staged the first production at Torshovteatret, Dahl's play Lever du'a Karlsen?, in 1977. Among his film roles is the murderer in Bortreist på ubestemt tid, and he played leading roles in Angst from 1976 and Arme, syndige menneske from 1980. He received the Amanda Award in 2001, for best actor in Norwegian film last year.
