The show's format is pre-recorded, as most of the show consists of guest interviews and contributions, which need to be scheduled to accommodate the guest. Technically, the show does take calls. The show's phone number, +1 (866) 405-8405, is active every day at all hours, and gives instructions to the caller and allows them to leave a message. Show hosts Hal and Judy sit in studio from 10 AM to 2 PM eastern time on Saturdays, when affiliate show play is the heaviest.
Each show is available to stations in two methods. The first, being the most convenient, is through an FTP system where affiliates pickup MP3s of the show. The second is a live satellite feed which occurs Saturday afternoons from noon to 3 PM eastern time. The show runs a traditional syndication clock, with availabilities for news, local and network spots. There are 6 minutes of network spots distributed through the show.
Animal Radio on XM Satellite Radio retains a slightly different broadcast format. First, there are no network breaks in the show. Second, there is approximately 10 extra minutes of content per hour, which is exclusive to XM and show podcasts. America's Talk on XM 158 runs the show Saturdays from noon to 2 PM eastern, during the allotted live studio time, and replays it Sundays from 9 to 11 AM eastern.
When this airs on KOST the station cuts the show down to 30 minutes due to "The Sunday Journal With Kari Steele" which focuses on organizations within the community broadcasting live at 6:30 every Sunday Morning.

Bryan Suits is an American war veteran of three military conflicts in Kuwait, Bosnia, and Iraq, and has been a talk radio host for more than 10 years. He has hosted talk-shows for radio stations in Seattle, Washington: KIRO (AM) and KVI, and in Los Angeles: KFI AM 640. Suits was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and grew up in Washington. He was heard weekday afternoons on KOGO-AM/FM in San Diego in 2011–12 and Saturday evenings on KFI from 2009 to November 2013. Suits did a brief Monday - Friday stint on KABC, Los Angeles in the 9 am – 12 noon slot beginning in 2014. However, he ultimately was summoned back to KFI. In addition to his current Saturday evening program "Dark Secret Place" at 8pm to 11pm, he serves as the official military and tactical sounding board for other KFI shows whenever related news breaks. He also has a Sunday evening show "Super-Hyper-Local Sunday" at 8pm to 10 pm.
John Tournour, better known as JT the Brick, is a sports talk radio host based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He currently hosts "Brick at Night With JT the Brick" on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's Mad Dog Sports Radio, a show on KRLV in Las Vegas, and various programs for the Las Vegas Raiders including the team's radio pregame show. Tournour graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1987 with a degree in Speech Communication. He was also president of Delta Kappa Tau fraternity and a member of the rugby team.
The Stephanie Miller Show is a syndicated progressive talk radio program that discusses politics, current events, and pop culture using a fast-paced, impromptu, comedic style. The three-hour show is hosted by Stephanie Miller and is syndicated by Westwood One. Voice artist Jim Ward formerly co-hosted the show and is a recurring guest. Miller is frequently joined on the air by executive producer Travis Bone and general manager Chris Lavoie. The show debuted on September 7, 2004 and is broadcast live from Los Angeles, California each weekday morning from 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time, on Pacifica station, KPFK in LA, and radio stations throughout the U.S., as well as online, and via SiriusXM Progress Channel 127. The show is also video simulcast live on Free Speech TV. Audio of each day's show is also available commercial-free for download from the show's website via the paid subscription Stephcast, which has been available since June 2005. The radio show should not be confused with Miller's short-lived 1995 syndicated TV talk show with the same name.

The channel played everything new from rock to rap, with the songs chosen by online votes to the XM website. One could also vote their favorite songs by calling the station number (866-553-2020), or text messaging, Sirius XM Love moved from Sirius 3, XM 23 and Dish Network 6003 to Sirius XM Radio 17 and Dish Network 6017 as part of the May 4 channel lineup.

On Air with Ryan Seacrest is a weekday syndicated radio program hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It was launched in 2004 as a drive time show at the same time on Los Angeles Top 40 station 102.7 KIIS-FM as the television show with the same name, although Seacrest had hosted a similar show in afternoon drive time on sister station 98.7 KYSR from 1995 until 2003. The TV series ran for several months in 2004, but nationwide syndication of the radio program did not start until 2008. While Seacrest hosted his Los Angeles show in the morning, the syndicated show's affiliates aired it in middays or afternoons. The syndicated show took segments from Seacrest's live Los Angeles wake up show and packaged them with music, so listeners in other cities could hear them later in the day or the following day. The live radio show originated its broadcast from the KIIS-FM studios in Burbank, California. KIIS-FM is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.

The show was designed for the "Gen-X" listener, targeting AC, HAC, Classic Hits and Variety Hits formats with a target demographic of 25-54. The show is hosted by Ann Duran, a radio veteran. The show was created by longtime radio programmer Peter Jackson Oleshchuk and Casey Mac, in February 2009. The Weekly Pop 20 was heard in nearly 40 radio markets throughout the United States and Canada. The show was distributed in partnership by Prairie Radio, LLC and CjM Productions, LLC with United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) selling advertising.
Sirius XM Hits 1 is a Top 40 radio station on Sirius XM Radio channel 2 and Dish Network channels 6002 and 099-02. Like most Sirius XM stations, it plays no commercials. The channel was formerly known as US-1 until 2004. The name is a take-off of VH1, whose name was originally an abbreviation of "Video Hits 1". Vh1 Satellite Radio once existed on XM but the channel was discontinued prior to the merger.
