April Divine (formerly Starfuck and Bloody April) is a Swedish rock band. They are currently signed to Asom Records (AD III). Their previous albums were released on the labels Supernova Records/Bonnier Amigo Music Group (Redemption) and Ninetone Records (Chapter One).
April Divine was founded in 1996 under the name Starfuck. They played all around Sweden got signed for their first album - Chapter one in 2006. Due to international marketing they had to change the band name.
In January 2006, they were signed to Swedish indie-label Ninetone Records. Union Entertainment Group was willing to distribute their album Chapter One , released on 29 January, in 2007. In January 2007, they opened for the band Staind at Nalen in Stockholm. Due to the success of this concert, Ema Telstar / Live Nation, a booking company, started a relationship with the band. This relationship led to a tour across Sweden.
2007 Andreas (Ante) Lundqvist left the band for personal reasons. He was replaced by Peter Uvén. 2008 April Divine recorded a new album in Atlanta. The mission to produce it went to Rick Beato (Vince Neil, Bullet for My Valentine, Shinedown).
26 February 2010, the band announced a new record deal with Supernova Records/Bonnier Amigo Music Group. On March 3 April Divine opened for Australian band Karnivool, together with Swedish band Librah at Debaser Medis in Stockholm. Their new single “Redemption” was released for purchase at iTunes and CDON in SwedenOn Mars 22nd and the new album Redemption was released on 19 May.
In October 2010 April divine was to be the supporting act for American rock band Alter Bridge for the band's three performances in Sweden in November 2010.
April divine also went overseas and toured Costa Rica with Costa Rican rockband Akasha. They also did the music video for the song ″Faced Down″ in Costa, with their newfound friends in Akasha and Brian Marshall (The location of the video is shot in the bay of Brian's house/hotel).
April divine also did some shows in the US, New York and Los Angeles where their former manager David Brown helped them. They played Muse Expo in LA.
April Divine have been opening for American rock band Staind two times in Sweden. Good relations lead to that April Divine was to be the opening act for the full European tour with Staind in 2011.
2012 was calm year and Peter and Per left the band, and in 2013 April Divine announced the new drummer Emil and bass player Elmer.
In April 2013 April Divine released the album AD III on the label Asom Records, and was supposed to follow up with a tour in Europe which was canceled due to bass player Elmer left the band due to moving, and Emil left the band due to committing for his other band.
In 2013 the label Asom Records did some groundbreaking distribution - they created an iOS app for the band “April Divine iOS” where some extra songs on top of AD III was released.
In 2014 they released a single “We Are Rangers” During search of a new bass player April Divine went back to the studio and created AD IV and announced release date in 2015, on their own label, Asom records, World Wide.

Staind is an American rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Aaron Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Mushok, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny April, and drummer Jon Wysocki. The lineup has been stable outside of the 2011 departure of Wysocki, who was replaced by Sal Giancarelli. Staind has recorded and released eight studio albums: Tormented (1996), Dysfunction (1999), Break the Cycle (2001), 14 Shades of Grey (2003), Chapter V (2005), The Illusion of Progress (2008), Staind (2011), and Confessions of the Fallen (2023).
Sixpence None the Richer is an American alternative rock band that formed in New Braunfels, Texas, and eventually settled in Nashville, Tennessee. They are best known for their songs "Kiss Me" and "Breathe Your Name" and their covers of "Don't Dream It's Over" and "There She Goes". The name of the band is inspired by a passage from the book Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis.

Chapter V is the fifth studio album by American rock band Staind. It was released on August 9, 2005, and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 with first week sales of 185,000 copies, and spawned a hit single along with three moderately successful singles on rock radio. Its first single "Right Here" was the most successful at both rock and pop stations and it was used in a video package by World Wrestling Entertainment commemorating the professional wrestler known as Edge after he won his first WWE Championship. "Falling" and "Everything Changes" have also been released with accompanying videos.
Tormented is the debut studio album by the American rock band Staind, self-released in 1996. In 1993, Staind vocalist Aaron Lewis and Staind guitarist Mike Mushok met each other at a Christmas party in the New England area. Mushok brought drummer Jon Wysocki into the fold and Lewis had a connection with a bass guitarist who later left, starting the early lineup. Shortly after bassist Johnny April joined, Staind officially formed in Springfield, Massachusetts on November 24, 1995. Touring in the Northeast United States helped Staind achieve a cult following.
The Blood Divine were a British gothic metal band, founded in the summer of 1995 by Paul Allender, brothers Paul and Benjamin Ryan, and Darren White. Allender and the brothers Ryan had recently left Cradle of Filth after the release of The Principle of Evil Made Flesh and White had recently parted ways with Anathema. They recruited drummer William A. 'W.A.S.' Sarginson and bassist Steve Maloney and were quickly signed up by Peaceville Records.
Marcos Curiel is the lead guitarist of rock bands P.O.D., The Accident Experiment and Daylight Division. Curiel was born in San Diego, California, in 1974 and is of Mexican descent. He grew up in the neighboring city of Chula Vista, where he graduated from Bonita Vista High School in 1992. Curiel started P.O.D. that year, along with friend Noah "Wuv" Bernardo. The band started building a strong local fanbase, releasing several albums independently. In 1998, they were signed to a record deal and released their hit albums The Fundamental Elements of Southtown (1999) and Satellite (2001) including hit singles, "Alive" and "Youth of the Nation". Both albums have had mainstream success, gaining multi Platinum certifications by the RIAA and three Grammy Award nominations. P.O.D. has also contributed to numerous motion picture soundtracks and toured internationally. Marcos has attended the Howard Fine Acting Studio. Curiel is the youngest member of P.O.D.

Supernova is an American punk rock band, founded in Costa Mesa, California in 1989. The band has released three full-length albums, numerous singles and EPs and were part of the original 1995 Vans Warped Tour line-up. They are perhaps best known by wider audiences for their song "Chewbacca", which was featured on the soundtrack to Kevin Smith's 1994 independent film Clerks. They are also known for the song "Up & Down", which was performed in 2007 on the Nick Jr. children's show Yo Gabba Gabba!
The Vandals / Assorted Jelly Beans is a split 7-inch record put out by Kung Fu Records in 1996. It was the first release to be put out by the label, which was founded by Vandals members Joe Escalante and Warren Fitzgerald for the purpose of releasing an album by the Huntington Beach band Assorted Jelly Beans. It is therefore appropriate that the label's first release is a split 7-inch with songs from the Vandals on one side and the Assorted Jelly Beans on the other.
Takida is a Swedish rock band from Ånge formed in 1999. The band's name comes from the character Gohee Takeda in the Japanese anime series Silver Fang. Takeda's name was mispronounced as "Takida" in the Swedish voiceover of the anime series.
The Poodles were a glam metal/heavy metal band from Sweden formed by the singer Jakob Samuel, bass guitarist Pontus Egberg, guitarist Pontus Norgren and drummer Christian Lundqvist.
Helltrain is a Swedish death 'n' roll band formed in Luleå in 2002 by Pierre Törnkvist, Oscar Karlsson and Patrik Törnkvist. The current line-up consists of Pierre Törnkvist (vocals), Patrik Törnkvist, Mikael Sandorf (guitars), Markus Parkkila (bass) and Fredrik Andersson (drums). Mikael and Mats joined Helltrain after their original band, The Duskfall disbanded in 2008. Helltrain has released one EP and three studio albums. Two singles were released in 2018. Emil & the Heartland Express is a Swedish heartland rock/revival rock group, consisting of ordinary rock band set plus a brass section and a violin. The band formed in Arvika, Sweden, where the members met at Musikhögskolan Ingesund. The leadsinger and songwriter, Emil Karlsson, is strongly influenced by such artists as Bruce Springsteen and Stefan Andersson.
Vertikal is the sixth studio album by Swedish post-metal band Cult of Luna and is also the band's first studio album since Eternal Kingdom (2008). The album was released in Europe on January 25, 2013 through Indie Recordings, and in the US on January 29, 2013 on CD through Density Records and on vinyl through Back on Black. To promote the album, Cult of Luna released the song "I: The Weapon" for online streaming prior to the release of Vertikal, and released a music video for the song "Passing Through" in February 2013. The album was critically acclaimed upon release and earned an average score of 85 based on 10 reviews at Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from critics.
