Archibald Norman Brown (born 28 May 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Gent.

Club career

As a youth player, Brown joined the youth academy of English side Derby County, helping them win their only youth top flight title. [1] In 2021, he signed for Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland. [2] On 28 November 2021, he debuted for Lausanne-Sport during a 3–0 loss to Servette. [3]

On 11 August 2023, Brown signed a four-year contract with Belgian club KAA Gent. [4] He is the fourth Englishman to ever play for the Belgian club. [4]

International career

On 7 June 2024, Brown made his England U20 debut during a 2-1 win over Sweden at Stadion ŠRC Sesvete. [5] In the next match, he scored his first goal at international level in a 2–2 draw with Republic of Ireland U21. [6]

Personal life

Born and raised in England, Brown is of Jamaican descent and can also represent the country at international level. [7]
