Arild Andresen (born 30 November 1967) is a Norwegian film director born in Kristiansand. [1] He first directed advertisements, but later made his way into TV and film.

Awards and recognition

In 2010, Andresen was awarded the Norwegian cinema managers' "Sølvklumpen" award for his film Liverpool Goolie. [2]

In 2012, his Company Orheim won the top Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film at the Gothenburg Film Festival. [3]

Johan Henrik Andresen is a Norwegian industrialist and investor. Since 1998, Andresen has been the owner of Ferd, one of the largest privately held companies in Norway. He served in the position of CEO from 1998 to 2012, and has been the chairman of the board since 2012. In the magazine Kapital’s list of the 400 richest Norwegians, Andresen is ranked as number five, with a net worth equaling more than USD 3.27 billion. While his father Johan H. Andresen Sr. lived, Andresen added 'Jr.' to his name, but ended this practice when his father died in 2011.

Millennium is a Swedish six-part television miniseries based on the 2009 film adaptations of Stieg Larsson's series of the same name. The miniseries was produced by Yellow Bird in cooperation with several production companies, including SVT, Nordisk Film, Film i Väst and ZDF Enterprises, and was broadcast on SVT1 from 20 March 2010 to 24 April 2010. Nobel is a 2016 Norwegian television series that premiered on NRK on 25 September 2016. It depicts Norway’s military involvement in Afghanistan. It was produced by Monster Scripted for the Norwegian broadcaster NRK and was broadcast under the title Nobel – fred for enhver pris. The series under the title Nobel was made available on Netflix for streaming on 13 December 2016. Nobel was subsequently removed from Netflix in November 2020.
