Arni's Restaurant is a chain of pizzerias with locations throughout the U.S. state of Indiana.
The first Arni's opened at Market Square Shopping Center in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1965, after its founder purchased an existing Pizza King franchise and converted it to his own namesake, and was named for its founder, restaurateur Arni Cohen. [1] [2] The restaurant, originally designed to seat 120, expanded several times and now seats approximately 500.
The restaurant's success led to the establishment of several smaller Arni's locations in surrounding communities, emphasizing carryout service. A second full-service location opened in the summer of 1988. As of 2023, the chain currently consists of 19 company-owned and franchised locations. [3]
Arni Cohen was a board member of the Indiana Restaurant Association and was elected to the Indiana Restaurant Association Hall of Fame in 2002. He died February 7, 2002, at the age of 69; his sons Brad and Kurt now lead the company.
Arni's was added to the Pizza Hall of Fame on August 1, 2017. [2]

Cassano's Pizza King, currently operating under the brand Cassano's, is a pizzeria chain based in Dayton, Ohio which produces Dayton-style pizza. Established on June 4, 1953, by the grocer Victor "Vic" J. Sir Pizza is a United States chain of pizza restaurants. Wendell Swartz opened the original restaurant in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1957 under the name of Pizza King. A separate chain, Sir Pizza, also using the Pizza King name, was incorporated in 1965 in Muncie, Indiana by Robert Swartz, Wendell's brother, and in 1966 they expanded their Pizza King outside of Indiana under the name of "Sir Pizza". In Indiana, both chains still operate under the Pizza King name. The motto for Sir Pizza is "Good to the very edge" For the notably thin crust so all the toppings can go to the crust. Pieology Pizzeria is a Tustin, California-based pizza chain within the fast-casual dining restaurants category. Founded in 2011 by Carl Chang, the brother of former tennis player Michael Chang, Pieology's mission is to "turn one of America's favorite food into an affordable and interactive experience". Pieology's main rivals are Blaze Pizza and MOD Pizza. By October 2018, Pieology had a single unit in Mexico plus approximately 140 units in 23 American states and territories with more than half of those restaurants located in the state of California.
