Around The World In 80 Babes is a collection of segments currently airing on Playboy TV that feature models and Playboy cover girls showing off various exotic cities across the globe.
Produced in 2008, the show features 18 different episodes of models giving tours of their home countries. The 10-minute segments have been featured as pieces in the Playboy Prime program and edited together to be stand-alone 30-minute shows.
Each Tour generally begins with a model introducing herself and showing off her home, followed by day trips to the city and nights out at the girl's favorite bar or club. Some of the cities profiled include Rio de Janeiro, New York City, London, and Mexico City.
Past Playboy cover model Amy Lynn Grover appeared in the Toronto segment and Elita Löfblad, contestant on Big Brother (Sweden and Norway), appeared in the Stockholm piece.
The show takes its title from the Jules Verne novel Around the World in Eighty Days .
Heather Renée Sweet, known professionally as Dita Von Teese, is an American vedette, burlesque dancer, model, fashion designer, businesswoman, author and actress. She is credited with re-popularizing burlesque performance, earning the moniker "Queen of Burlesque". Von Teese has been seen in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, RuPaul's Drag Race, The Masked Dancer, The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell among other television productions. Von Teese has been a special guest at the Parisian venue Crazy Horse (cabaret) several times. Her 2016 show resulted in a DVD release. 2006-2008 Von Teese was a Viva Glam spokesperson for MAC Cosmetics to raise money for HIV/AIDS research. In 2007-2013 she was a global ambassador of Cointreau and in 2010-2011 she was the face of Perrier. She has also created four perfumes under the brand Dita Von Teese Perfumes. She also has her own brand of lingerie, as well as stockings under the name Secrets in Lace and luxurious cardigans for Australian online store Wheels & Dollbaby.

A Playmate is a female model featured in the centerfold/gatefold of Playboy magazine as Playmate of the Month (PMOM). The PMOM's pictorial includes nude photographs and a centerfold poster, along with a pictorial biography and the "Playmate Data Sheet", which lists her birthdate, measurements, turn-ons, and turn-offs. At the end of the year, one of the 12 Playmates of the Month is named Playmate of the Year (PMOY). Every Playmate of the Month is awarded a prize of US$25,000 and each Playmate of the Year receives an additional prize of US$100,000 plus a car and other discretionary gifts. In addition, Anniversary Playmates are usually chosen to celebrate a milestone year of the magazine.
