Arshad Mahmood Malik is a retired three-star officer in the Pakistan Air Force who served as the CEO of Pakistan International Airlines from 2019 to 2022.
Before joining PIA, Air Marshal Malik was the Vice Chief of Air Staff (VCAS), of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
During his career in PAF, he flew various trainer and fighter aircraft; and, commanded a fighter squadron, a flying wing, an operational air base and a regional air command.
He has also overseen and coordinated the development, manufacturing of JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft, induction of transport aircraft like IL-78 and C-130. He has led sale of JF-17 Thunder aircraft and Super Mashak aircraft. Air Marshal Malik has served as Board Chairman of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra.
His staff appointments include Personal Staff Officer to Chief of the Air Staff, Director Operations Project, Director Operational Requirement and Development, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (OR&D), Chief Project Director JF-17, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Personnel) at Air Headquarters and Vice Chief of the Air Staff.
He is a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, Air War College, National Defence University and Air Command and Staff College, United States of America.
Air Marshal Arshad Malik was a nominated Director since October 17, 2018. He was elected as acting CEO on October 26, 2018 and was appointed regular CEO w.e.f. April 26, 2019 as per PSC Guidelines 2015.
Air Marshal Malik was ex-officio Chairman of PIA subsidiaries viz PIA Investments Ltd, Skyrooms (Pvt.) Ltd and he was also the Chairman Al-Shifa Trust – the flagship CSR setup of PIACL.

Sitara-e-Jurat is the third highest military award of Pakistan. It was established in 1957 after Pakistan became a republic; however, it was instituted retrospectively back to 1947. Kaleem SaadatNI(M) HI(M) SI(M) TI(M) LoH is a retired four-star air officer in the Pakistan Air Force who served as the Chief of Air Staff from 18 March 2003 until retiring on 20 March 2006. His appointment came after an air crash that killed Air Chief Marshal Mushaf Ali Mir, the air chief, along with several other high-ranking Air Force officers on 19 February 2003. He is the President of the Centre for Aerospace and Security Studies.

Upon retirement, he served on a diplomatic assignment, and headed the diplomatic mission to the United States as Pakistan's ambassador from 1989 to 1990.

Tahir Rafique Butt, is a retired air officer who was the 13th Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force serving from 19 March 2012 to 19 March 2015. He was replaced by Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.
Air Headquarters (AHQ) is the Headquarters of Pakistan Air Force, located in Islamabad. Initially it was established at Peshawar on 15 August 1947. Later it was moved to Karachi on 1 June 1948 and back to Peshawar in 1960. In 1983 construction of Air headquarters was started at Islamabad after it was decided to have all the armed forces headquarters in the capital city. On 1 August 2005 the headquarters was moved from Chaklala, Rawalpindi to Islamabad. During the construction of the headquarter's building at Islamabad the headquarters directorates were housed at PAF base Chaklala.

Raja Rizwan Ullah KhanMRAeSM-PECSbt, known as Razi to his family and colleagues, was a one-star rank officer of the PAF, author, and aeronautical engineer who held the position of Personal Staff Officer to Chief of Air Staff Mushaf Ali Mir. In the TV series Shahpar, he played the role of the Officer Commanding No. 11 Squadron PAF, mirroring his real-life position at the time.
