Since 2005, the company has belonged to France's Saint-Gobain group.

A popcorn ceiling (slang), also known as a textured ceiling, cottage cheese ceiling, stipple ceiling, a stucco ceiling or formally an acoustic ceiling, is a ceiling with a certain spray-on or paint-on treatment. It was the standard for bedroom and residential hallway ceilings for its bright, white appearance, ability to hide imperfections, and acoustical characteristics. In comparison, kitchen and living room ceilings would normally be finished in smoother skip-trowel or orange peel texture for their higher durability and ease of cleaning. Popcorn was used pre-1970s and in early formulations, it often contained white asbestos fibers. When asbestos was banned in ceiling treatments by the Clean Air Act in the United States, popcorn ceilings fell out of favor in much of the country. However, in order to minimize economic hardship to suppliers and installers, existing inventories of asbestos-bearing texturing materials were exempt from the ban, so it is possible to find asbestos in popcorn ceilings that were applied through the 1980s. After the ban, popcorn ceiling materials were created using a paper-based or Styrofoam product to create the texture, rather than asbestos. Textured ceilings remain common in residential construction in the United States.
KTSS-LP was a low-powered community television station broadcasting from Hope, Arkansas on channel 50. The Schooler Creek Group is a stratigraphic unit of Middle to Late Triassic age in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. It is present in northeastern British Columbia. It was named for Schooler Creek, a left tributary of Williston Lake, and was first described in two oil wells northwest of Fort St. John, by F.H. McLearn in 1921. Exposures along Williston Lake serve as a type locality in outcrop.
Robert Adrian (1935–2015), also known as Robert Adrian X, was a Canadian artist who made radio and telecommunications art. Adrian moved from Canada to Vienna, Austria in 1972 where he became known for creating experimental artworks using radio and communications technologies. His work The World in 24 Hours, which connected artists in different cities and continents through telephone lines and radio, is considered to be one of the first experiments in online culture. Adrian is considered to be a pioneer in the field of telecommunications art and media art.

The film is rated "A" by the Cinema Evaluation Board of the Philippines. It was selected as the Filipino entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards. Artex began in 1986 in Auckland, New Zealand in 1986 and ran until 1994. It was the first art fair to be held in New Zealand which showcased historical and contemporary New Zealand art. Artex was the genesis for what is now known as the Auckland Art Fair.
Phillipsburg is an Unincorporated community in south Washington County, in the U.S. state of Texas. The very small rural community is located along State Highway 36 (SH 36) south of Brenham. Aside from the names of two local roads, the name Phillipsburg is no longer marked on modern maps. On 20 January 2014, a Britten-Norman Islander light aircraft belonging to the Superior School of Aviation in Romania crashed in the Apuseni Mountains at an altitude of approximately 1,400 metres (4,600 ft), near the village of Petreasa, between Alba and Cluj counties. The aircraft was piloted by two crew and was transporting a five-person medical team from Bucharest to Oradea. The pilot and a medical student died, while the copilot and four medical doctors were injured.

Artex was founded in 1989 as Promociones Artísticas y Literarias and it soon became Cuba's largest chain of record outlets. Previously, the Cuban music industry had been entirely managed by the state-owned EGREM since 1964. Similarly, Artex manages the biggest bookstores in the country.
