Toronto Internet Exchange

The Toronto Internet Exchange Community (TorIX) is a not-for-profit Internet Exchange Point (IXP) located in a carrier hotel at 151 Front Street West, Equinix's TR2 data centre at 45 Parliament Street and 905 King Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As of December 2019, TorIX has 253 unique autonomous systems representing 278 peer connections and peak traffic rates of 850 Gbit/s, making it the largest IXP in Canada. According to Wikipedia's List of Internet Exchange Points by Size, TorIX is the 16th largest IXP in the world in numbers of peers, and 17th in the world in traffic averages. The Exchange is organized and run by industry professionals in voluntary capacity.

The SwissIX Internet Exchange (SwissIX) is an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) situated in Switzerland, currently in the following cities: Basel, Bern, Glattbrugg, Lupfig, Zurich. SwissIX is a fast-growing, non-profit, neutral and independent peering network. On 9 March 2001 SwissIX was established as an Association in Glattbrugg, operating under Swiss Law.

Internet network operators' groups (NOGs) are informal, country-based, or regional groups that exist to provide forums for Internet network operators to discuss matters of mutual interest, usually through a combination of mailing lists and annual conferences. Although these groups have no formal power, their members are typically influential members of the Internet service provider (ISP), Internet exchange point (IXP), regional Internet registry (RIR), operational security community, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) operations, Domain Name System (DNS) and root zone operations, and other network operations communities, and discussions within these groups are often influential in the overall process of ensuring the Internet remains operational, robust, secure, and stable. ALP-IX Regional Internet Exchange (ALP-IX) is an Internet Exchange Point situated in Munich (Germany). It is operated by DE-CIX Management GmbH. In 2011 the ALP-IX was renamed to DE-CIX Munich to be in line with their main brand.

Greek Internet Exchange

The Greek Internet Exchange (GR-IX) is an Internet exchange point located in Athens and Thessaloniki in Greece. It was founded in 2009 in order to replace the Athens Internet Exchange as the principal Internet Exchange Point in Greece, which was achieved in January 2010. GR-IX is non-profit, independent and is supervised by the Greek Research and Technology Network (GRNET). GR-IX is a member of the European Internet Exchange Association.

Manchester Network Access Point was a Manchester-based internet exchange point (IXP). The access point provides an exchange point for internet service providers and businesses in northern England and the Midlands and was the first Internet Exchange point in the UK outside London.

The European Internet Exchange Association, or Euro-IX, is an association of European Internet exchange points. It is a community-driven association serving European Internet exchange points and Internet service providers and the general IP community, including politicians, regulators, vendors, and other industry related sectors. Euro-IX is part of the global IX-F Internet eXchange Federation.

France-IX is a Paris-based Internet exchange point (IXP) founded in June 2010 as a membership organisation. As of 1 August 2015 it interconnects more than 278 members, making it the largest IXP in France.

The African IXP Association, or Af-IX, is an association of African Internet exchange points. It is a community-driven association serving African Internet exchange points and Internet service providers and the general IP community, including politicians, regulators, and other industry related sectors. Af-IX is part of the global IX-F Internet eXchange Federation. Membership in Af-IX is free, and open to all operators of Internet Exchange Points in Africa.

Mumbai Internet Exchange is a Mumbai-based Internet exchange point (IXP) founded in 15 August 2014 as Mumbai Convergence Hub is an Open Carrier Neutral Internet Exchange & Peering Hub. As of 30 January 2019 it interconnects more than 160 members, making it the largest IXP in India and surrounding region.
