Atomik Harmonik is a turbo-folk music group from Kamnik, Slovenia. Their debut single "Brizgalna Brizga" stayed at #1 in the Slovenian pop charts for several months. Their other hits include "Hop Marinka", "Na seniku", "Od hr'ma do hr'ma", and their European hit "Turbo Polka", which hit the charts in Germany and Austria, bringing the group fame across Europe.

Triglav, with an elevation of 2,863.65 metres (9,395.2 ft), is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. The mountain is the pre-eminent symbol of the Slovene nation, appearing on the coat of arms and flag of Slovenia. It is the centrepiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park. Triglav was also the highest peak in Yugoslavia before Slovenia's independence in 1991.

In the minds of many foreigners, Slovenian folk music means a form of polka that is still popular today, especially among expatriates and their descendants. However, there are many styles of Slovenian folk music beyond polka and waltz. Kolo, lender, štajeriš, mafrine and šaltin are a few of the traditional music styles and dances.

Brizgaaaaj! was the debut album of Slovenian pop folk band Atomik Harmonik. The lead single, "Brizgalna brizga", was a summer hit in Slovenia in the summer of 2004, and the album was released the following November. It was the number one album in Slovenia for 16 weeks. In 2005 the band released a second single, "Na seniku".

Koseze Pond, Martinek Pond, Lake Koseze or simply the Pond is an artificial pond at the edge of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, between Šiška Hill to the west and the neighborhood of Mostec to the east. It is part of the Tivoli–Rožnik Hill–Šiška Hill Landscape Park and is named after the nearby Koseze neighborhood in Ljubljana's Šiška District. Turbo Angels are a Slovenian turbo-folk quartet. Menart Records published their debut single, Naj se dviga, in 2005, and their debut album, Mi smo za..., in June 2006.
