Attera Orbis Terrarum is the name of the series of tours by Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral in promotion of their 2005 studio album Attera Totus Sanctus . Several shows as well as recordings from other eras of Dark Funeral's history were accounted on the following live DVDs:

Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include fast tempos, a shrieking vocal style, heavily distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, raw (lo-fi) recording, unconventional song structures, and an emphasis on atmosphere. Artists often appear in corpse paint and adopt pseudonyms.

Dark Funeral Swedish black metal band

Dark Funeral is a Swedish black metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, founded by guitarists Blackmoon and Lord Ahriman in 1993. They emerged during the second wave of black metal.

<i>Attera Orbis Terrarum – Part I</i> live album

Attera Orbis Terrarum – Part I is the first of the two-part Attera Orbis Terrarum series of live DVDs by Swedish black metal band Dark Funeral. As well as consisting of two shows recorded at Tilburg, Netherlands, and Paris, France, on the European leg of Dark Funeral's Attera Orbis Terrarum tour in 2006, it includes a recording of a concert in Katowice, Poland, in 2005, and various amateur footage such as that of the band's debut concert in the Metal Nights Festival in Oslo, Norway, in 1994.

Mikael Svanberg, better known as Lord Ahriman, is a Swedish musician and composer best known as the primary guitarist and songwriter and sole founding member of black metal band Dark Funeral. He is also the rhythm guitarist in Wolfen Society. His name is derived from Ahriman, the evil equivalent of the deity Ahura Mazda in Zoroastrianism.

The Orb English electronic music group

The Orb are an English electronic music group founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and The KLF member Jimmy Cauty. Beginning as ambient and dub DJs in London, their early performances were inspired by electronic artists of the 1970s and 1980s, most notably Brian Eno and Kraftwerk. Because of their psychedelic sound, the Orb developed a cult following among clubbers "coming down" from drug-induced highs. The Orb have maintained their drug-related science fiction themes despite personnel changes, including the departure of Cauty and members Kris Weston, Andy Falconer, Simon Phillips, Nick Burton, and Andy Hughes. Paterson has been the only permanent member, continuing to work as the Orb with Swiss-German producer Thomas Fehlmann and, later, with Martin "Youth" Glover, bassist of Killing Joke. Attera Totus Sanctus is Dark Funeral's fourth full-length studio album. It was released on October 24, 2005, in Europe through Regain Records, and on November 29, 2005, in the United States through Candlelight Records USA. The title was chosen to convey the band's vehement anti–Right-Hand Path stance. Attera Totus Sanctus is the first album to feature guitarist Chaq Mol and the last album to feature drummer Matte Modin and also features session bassist Gustaf Hielm.

Humphrey Llwyd (1527–1568) was a Welsh cartographer, author, antiquary and Member of Parliament. He was a leading member of the Renaissance period in Wales along with other such men as Thomas Salisbury and William Morgan. His library, together with those of his patron, the Earl of Arundel and his brother-in-law, Lord Lumley, formed the basis of the Royal Collection of books; currently housed at the British Library. He has also been the vocalist of death metal bands Demonoid, replacing Christofer Johnsson, and Sanctification. He was the original vocalist for Hypocrisy and has featured in other extreme metal bands including Dominion-Caligula and God Among Insects. He has also performed backing vocals for the Swedish black metal band Sportlov.
