Ratatat Remixes Vol. 1 is a self-released remix album by the Brooklyn indie electronic rock duo Ratatat. It includes songs from hip-hop artists Missy Elliott, Kanye West, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, among others. In an interview with Glide Magazine, Ratatat member Mike Stroud acknowledged both the marked departure from their instrumental first album Ratatat and perceived dichotomous nature of their sound by saying, "Especially with remixes, we approach it a bit differently than our other music. It's something we originally did for fun, that's now part of what we are."

Evan Peter Mast, also known by his stage name E*vax or E.VAX, is an American electronic music artist and one-half of the New York–based electronic rock band Ratatat, alongside Mike Stroud.

Wyld File is a commercial music video production company formed in 2005 by the Paper Rad collective and Eric Mast (E*Rock). The company has produced music videos for the band The Gossip, Beck and Islands. The Paper Rad Collective has also produced numerous music videos for other bands, including Lightning Bolt, Wolf Eyes and the 1960s psychedelic rock band Bubble Puppy, and E*Rock has produced animated music videos for the bands Ratatat, Yellow Swans, Global Goon, and Nice Nice.

Magnifique is the fifth studio album by Ratatat, released on July 17, 2015. Ratatat began touring in early 2015 with limited stops in the midwestern US and the Coachella music festival where new songs were debuted. On April 12, 2015, the band released "Cream on Chrome", the first single from the album. On June 16, 2015, "Abrasive" was released as the second single. The album features a cover of the 1971 Springwater single "I Will Return" and cover artwork collage sketches by Evan Mast and Mike Stroud.

The Boy Who Flew to the Moon, Vol. 1 is the first greatest hits album by American musician Kid Cudi. It was released on July 8, 2022, by Republic Records and Cudi's Wicked Awesome imprint. The compilation includes tracks from seven of his previous studio albums: Man on the Moon: The End of Day (2009), Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (2010), Indicud (2013), Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon (2014), Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven (2015), Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' (2016) and Man on the Moon III: The Chosen (2020). Also included are songs from his rock band, WZRD's eponymously titled debut album (2012). The album concludes with a re-mastered version of his 2015 non-album song "Love", as a bonus track. "Love" is a song by American musician Kid Cudi. Originally recorded in 2013 for his fourth solo album Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon (2014), the song failed to make the final cut for the album, however Cudi would release the song on March 3, 2015 as a promotional recording via his verified SoundCloud page. Although Kid Cudi had declared that due to copyright issues the song would never be released officially, it was ultimately released in 2022, re-mastered and included as a bonus track on his first greatest hits compilation The Boy Who Flew to the Moon, Vol. 1, issued on July 8.
