Cycle one of Australia's Next Top Model began airing on 11 January 2005 on Fox8. [1] The ten contestants from around the country chosen for the competition converged in Sydney, where they spent eight weeks sharing an inner city apartment while competing for the title of Australia's Next Top Model. The series finale was held in Melbourne.
The prizes for winning the first cycle of Australia's Next Top Model included a modelling contract with Chic Model Management, an all-expenses paid trip to Milan to meet with Italian modeling agency Fashion, an eight-page editorial in Cleo magazine, and a national campaign for Napoleon cosmetics.
The winner of the competition was 22-year-old Gemma Sanderson from Newcastle. [2] [3]

The top ten aspiring contestants met Erika Heynatz and Alex Perry for a runway show in front of an audience. After moving into their new apartment, the contestants were briefed on the importance of fitness and healthy eating. They were later introduced to the Sydney social scene at an A-List cocktail party, and received waxes in preparation for a bikini shoot on the beach.

The top seven contestants received acting and pole dancing lessons, later followed by an acting challenge. While the winners of the challenge attended a launch party, the losers shot a commercial for Venus. The top six contestants learned about body movement and language, before receiving tips on their runway walks and poses. They learned salesmanship skills in an interview, and one contestant revealed that she suffered from depression. The contestants took part in a runway show for the media, and had interviews with Cleo magazine editor Nedahl Stelio. The girls later arrived at Circular Quay for an intimate photo shoot with Olympic swimmer Geoff Huegill.

They later learned about tap dancing, and received a visit from a clairvoyant to talk about their personal lives. The top three contestants received a second set of makeovers and were flown to Melbourne for the grand finale. There, they took part in a cosmetics shoot and arrived at the Zambesi clothing retailer line to meet Elisabeth Findlay for a casting challenge. They later attended a red carpet party for Mercedes Australian fashion week, before one contestant was eliminated from the competition. The final two competed in a final runway show, and Gemma was declared to be Australia's Next Top Model.

The fourth season of America's Next Top Model aired in spring 2005, with the shooting location being moved from New York City to Los Angeles. The catchphrase of the season was "Dive In."
The seventh cycle of America's Next Top Model started airing on September 20, 2006 as the first to be aired on The CW network. The season's catch-phrase is "The Competition Won't Be Pretty." The season's promotional theme song is "Hot Stuff " by Pussycat Dolls.
Cycle two of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 4 January 2006 on Fox8. Thirteen contestants were chosen to share an inner city apartment in Sydney for eight weeks while they were competing for the title of Australia's Next Top Model. The cycle's tagline was "Game On!".
Season three of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 27 March 2007 on Fox8. Former model and designer of swimsuit collection Tigerlily, Jodhi Meares replaced Erika Heynatz as the host of the show after the latter was involved in a breach of contract following her appearance on the Seven Network series It Takes Two in 2006. Alex Perry was the only incumbent judge to return in the third series. Also joining the panel for the first time were international photographer Jez Smith, and ex-model and TV personality Charlotte Dawson. Fashion photographer Georges Antoni and fashion producer Victoria Fisher were replaced this year by these new judges.
The fourth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 22 April 2008 on Fox8. Auditions were held during October and November 2007 across Australia. Host Jodhi Meares returned for the fourth series along with judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson, while Jez Smith left the show due to scheduling commitments. Two different guest judges were included at panel every week. The contestants were housed in an $8 million waterfront mansion, located in the southern Sydney suburb of Port Hacking, which the contestants moved into on 25 January 2008.
Cycle 3 of Canada's Next Top Model, the Canadian adaptation of Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model, aired on CTV from May to July 2009. Jay Manuel returned for his second season as the show's host. The panel was composed of Jeanne Beker, Yasmin Warsame, and photographer Mike Ruiz, who was the only new addition. Nolé Marin returned as creative director for the show. Encore presentations of the show aired on A-Channel, Star! and FashionTelevisionChannel. The cycle's catchphrase was "It's time to break the mould."
The fifth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 28 April 2009 on Fox8. Auditions were held during October and November 2008 across Australia, and production of the prerecorded episodes began in January 2009 and concluded in March 2009. Model and television personality Sarah Murdoch took over as the host for this season, replacing Jodhi Meares, and joining incumbent judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson. Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Maybelline replaced the previous season's regular sponsors, Vogue and Napoleon Perdis.
The sixth season of Australia's Next Top Model premiered on 20 July 2010 on Fox8. Sarah Murdoch returned as the host and leading judge for this season. Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson also returned as judges.

The nineteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model, consisted of thirteen episodes and was broadcast on The CW. It aired from August 24, 2012, until November 16, 2012, and was promoted by the catchphrase "Only One Can Be Top of the Class". This was the final season to feature thirteen contestants, all of whom were enrolled in higher education, compete for the title of America's Next Top Model, providing them with an opportunity to begin their career in the modeling industry. Its premise was originated with model Tyra Banks, who additionally serves as its executive producer and presenter.
The first cycle of the reality television show Asia's Next Top Model in which a number of women compete for the title and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry. The show features aspiring models from the entire Asia-Pacific region. The international destinations for this cycle were Batam, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
The twentieth cycle of America's Next Top Model premiered on August 2, 2013. It was the 14th season to air on The CW. Tyra Banks, Kelly Cutrone, Bryanboy, and Rob Evans all returned as judges. As in the previous cycle, public voting was still a factor in eliminations. This was the first cycle of the show to feature male contestants. Tyra indicated in an interview that a school version called LeGore's Next Top Model (2011), inspired her to start including male contestants. The international destination for this cycle was Bali, Indonesia, the first visit in Southeast Asia since cycle 6.

The eighth cycle of Australia's Next Top Model began airing 9 July 2013 on Fox8. Model and Miss Universe 2004 Jennifer Hawkins took over as the host for this season, replacing Sarah Murdoch. Hawkins had previously appeared in one episode at the inaugural cycle, joining incumbent judges Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson with Didier Cohen joining the show as a new judge. This is the last series of Australia's Next Top Model to feature Dawson, before she died of an apparent suicide five months after it ended.
The ninth cycle of Australia's Next Top Model began airing 30 April 2015 on Fox8. Jennifer Hawkins and Alex Perry returned judges for this season, while Cheyenne Tozzi was added as a new co-mentor alongside Didier Cohen, who was formerly a judge on the previous season.
The fourth cycle of Asia's Next Top Model aired from March 9 to June 1, 2016 on STAR World. The judging panel for this cycle was completely replaced; Thai model Cindy Bishop was appointed as host and head judge, and Indonesian model Kelly Tandiono as a model mentor and judge. Yu Tsai joined the show as its creative consultant.
The fifth cycle of Asia's Next Top Model aired from April 5 to June 28, 2017. Filming for cycle five took place in Singapore and Malaysia. Cindy Bishop and Yu Tsai returned as judges for panel this cycle, while Kelly Tandiono departed from the show, and was replaced by Cara G. McIlroy.
The twelfth and final cycle of Britain's Next Top Model premiered on 19 October 2017 on Lifetime. This was the third cycle of the series to be hosted by former contestant Abbey Clancy. Photographer Nicky Johnston returned for the new series as well. Previous judges Hilary Alexander and Paul Sculfor did not return. Sculfor was replaced by British male model Max Rogers, while Hilary Alexander's place at judging remained open for a guest judge each week. This cycle re-introduced individual critiques as elimination.
The twenty-fourth and final cycle of America's Next Top Model premiered on January 9, 2018 and was the second season to air on VH1. Continuing from cycle 23, this cycle featured an all-female cast. However, in a first for the series, the maximum age limit was removed, allowing contestants of all ages to enter the contest. Although this cycle aired in 2018, it was filmed from May through June 2017.
