The Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre was a convention, exhibition and entertainment complex in Darling Harbour, Sydney. The Exhibition Centre was designed by architect Philip Cox and the Convention Centre by John Andrews. The complex opened in 1988 as part of an urban renewal and redevelopment of the Darling Harbour area during the period. The complex was eventually demolished in 2013 to make way for the International Convention Centre.

The venue opened in February 2014, following the closure of the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre in December 2013, and closed on 30 September 2016.

EduTECH is an annual two-day education and ed-tech conference and trade show launched in Australia in 2011 by Craig Macfarlane, co-founder of Association & Communications Events (ACEvents). ACEvents and the EduTECH brand was subsequently acquired by Terrapinn Limited in 2015. EduTECH brings together over 10,000 educators from pre-schools, schools, universities, vocational education, training organisations and corporate trainers, as well as Government education departments and a myriad of education products and solution providers, to discuss latest education trends and methods, and to find ways to improve teaching and learning. EduTECH is well known to be the largest education event in the Southern Hemisphere and APAC region. The conference is held annually between June - August. In 2023, EduTECH will run at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 24 and 25 August 2023. Previous events ran at the International Convention Centre Sydney by Terrapinn Ltd.

Harbourside was a shopping centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Built in 1988 as part of the urban redevelopment of the Darling Harbour area during the 1980s, it was located in close proximity to other notable buildings such as the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Australian National Maritime Museum. On 9 December 2022, the centre closed permanently preceding its demolition. The site will be redeveloped for a mixed-use tower and retail complex.
