Ayedaade/Isokan/Irewole Federal constituency is a National Assembly delegation in Osun State, Nigeria. It has been represented by Patricia Etteh, the former speaker of the House of Representatives, since 2007.

As at 2020, there is one senator representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan in the Senate (Upper House), in person of Hon Adelere Oriolowo. The Senate scrutinizes proposed laws and the budget of the country, and provide oversight of its other decision-making bodies. This senatorial seat was keenly contested in 2017 bye elections after the death late Senator Isiaka Adeleke. Senator Ademola Adeleke (brother of the deceased senator) defeated a former senator, Mudashiru Hussein of the APC, by a total of 97,480 votes to 66, 116 votes.

Also, one Representative represents Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan in the Federal House of Representatives (Lower House), in person of Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga. The House of Representatives is responsible for making laws in the country and for overall scrutiny of all aspects of government. Both representatives are from the All Progressives Congress, probably a trend that continued since former Hon. Patricia Etteh defected to the same party in 2018.

The elections in this constituency, like most Nigerian elections, are fraught with electoral malpractices. For example, the Guardian Newspaper reported that 2,411 voters engaged in multiple registrations. The investigators also found out that 2,402 voters registered twice while nine voters registered thrice. These fraudulent activities spanned nine local government areas including Atakunmosa West, Ayedaade, Ede North, Ilesa East, Ife North, Oriade, Ede South, Olorunda and Ife Central. ^[1]

Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke ; 15 January 1955 – 23 April 2017) was a Nigerian politician, he was a two time senator who represented Osun West from 2007 to 2011 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was elected again under the banner of the All Progressives Congress in 2015. He ran for re-election in April 2011 on the PDP platform, coming second with 77,090 votes behind the eventual winner Mudasiru Oyetunde Hussein of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) who polled 121,971 votes.

Ayedaade is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in Gbongan at the northern part of the area. The coordinates are 7°28′00″N4°21′00″E.

Chief Raji Ayoola Adeleke was a Nigerian politician, a labour activist and a senator in the second republic who represented Osun State Senatorial District 11 which comprises six Local Governments —Ede, Osogbo, Irepodun, Ifelodun, Odo Otin, Ila Orangun.

The 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election took place on 16 July 2022, to elect the governor of Osun State. Incumbent All Progressives Congress Governor Gboyega Oyetola was eligible for re-election but lost by a 3.5% margin to former Senator Ademola Adeleke—the nominee of the Peoples Democratic Party. Adeleke and his running mate, Kola Adewusi, were inaugurated on 27 November. However, the Election Petition Tribunal overturned the result on 27 January 2023, awarding the win to Oyetola; Adeleke immediately appealed the ruling and remains in office pending the results of further litigation.

Albert Abiodun Adeogun was a member of 6th and 8th House of Representatives (Nigeria) and deputy governor aspirant to the gubernatorial ambition of Ademola Adeleke in Osun state. He was elected as member of Nigeria's 6th House of Representatives in 2007 and also reelected in 2015 to represent Ife Federal Constituency, comprising Ife Central, Ife North, Ife South and Ife East.

The 2019 Osun State House of Assembly election was held on March 9, 2019, to elect members of the Osun State House of Assembly in Nigeria. All the 26 seats were up for election in the Osun State House of Assembly.

The 2023 Nigerian presidential election in Osun State will be held on 25 February 2023 as part of the nationwide 2023 Nigerian presidential election to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria. Other federal elections, including elections to the House of Representatives and the Senate, will also be held on the same date while state elections will be held two weeks afterward on 11 March.

The 2023 Nigerian Senate elections in Osun State will be held on 25 February 2023, to elect the 3 federal Senators from Osun State, one from each of the state's three senatorial districts. The elections will coincide with the 2023 presidential election, as well as other elections to the Senate and elections to the House of Representatives; with state elections being held two weeks later. Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.
