The Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC, also known as the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre) is an exhibition centre in Manama, Bahrain. It is the country's largest exhibition and convention facility. [1]

During the COVID-19 pandemic in Bahrain, the centre was converted into the country's main testing centre for COVID-19. [2]

Facilities

BIECC has 14,000 square meters of exhibition space and 1,400 square meters of function space. [3] It is able to hold approximately 5,000 delegates and up to 30,000 visitors each day. [4] There is car parking for 800 cars. [5]

Location

BIECC is on the north side of Avenue 28, south of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway. It is surrounded by shopping malls. To the north is the Al Aali Shopping Complex. To the northwest is the Seef Mall. To the west is The Bahrain Mall. To the east is the Dana Mall. To the northeast is the Bahrain City Centre shopping mall.

City Centre Bahrain Shopping mall in Manama, Bahrain

City Centre Bahrain is a shopping mall located in the Seef District of Manama, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is owned and run by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, which owns several shopping malls across the Middle East.

Sitra Mall is a multi-storey shopping mall located in Sitra, Bahrain. It opened in 2006 and covers an area of 46,838 square meter. Nanjing International Expo Center is an exposition center and also a landmark in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. It has an exposition area of 120,000 square meters. The Expo Center facilities include six exposition pavilions, 38 conference rooms and a multi-function pavilion, and it is capable of hosting exhibitions with over 4,500 international standard large-scale exhibition booths. Two more exposition pavilions, a business hotel and a conference center hotel are planned.

The Bahrain Mall is a multistorey shopping mall situated in Sanabis, Manama city of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The mall features 1,600 parking spaces. The complex covers 70,000 square metres and attracts about 480,000 visitors per month.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Bahrain is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus was confirmed to have reached Bahrain on 21 February 2020. As of 13 May 2021, there have been a total of 196,105 confirmed cases in the country, of which 179,958 have recovered and 718 have died. A total of 4,307,946 PCR tests were conducted since the start of the pandemic.
