The Bahrain Under-19 cricket team represent the country of Bahrain in Under-19 international cricket.

Bahrain made their debut in the 2005 ACC Under-19 Cup where they managed to reach the quarter finals. [1] For a few years the team did not compete, but returned triumphantly in 2009 when they won the Under-19 Challenge Cup that year. [2] This earned them qualification into the 2011 ACC Under-19 Elite Cup where they finished sixth. [3] Bahrain u19 took part in the recently concluded 2016 ICC U-19 Asia Division 2 Development Programme

The team is organised by the Bahrain Cricket Association (BCA), which became an ICC affiliate member in 2001 and an associate member in 2017. The Bahraini national side made its first international appearance in 1979, at a tournament with Kuwait, Qatar, and Sharjah. Its first appearance in an Asian Cricket Council tournament came at the 2004 ACC Trophy in Malaysia; since then, Bahrain has regularly appeared in ACC events. Bahrain has also made several appearances in World Cricket League tournaments, but was relegated back to regional tournaments after finishing fifth at the 2013 Division Six event.

The Maldives national cricket team represents the country of the Maldives in international cricket. Although they did not become an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) until 2001, they have taken part in the ACC Trophy on every occasion since its inception in 1996. They have never progressed beyond the first round of the tournament. They became an associate member in 2017.

The ACC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Open only to associate and affiliate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), it was contested biennially between 1996 and 2012, but has been replaced by the three-division ACC Premier League as the primary limited-overs competition for non-Test-playing ACC members. The finalists of the 2000 and 2006 tournaments qualified for the Asia Cup, where matches had One Day International (ODI) status.

The ACC Premier League is a One Day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council that is contested between its members nations in League system. It has evolved from the former ACC Trophy Elite cricket competition and played under three divisions; Premier, Ellite and Challenge. It gives Associate and Affiliate members of the Asian Cricket Council experience of international one-day cricket and also helps form an essential part of regional rankings. The first tournament was held in Malaysia in May 2014.

A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, he has played for Singapore since 2005 having previously played first-class and List A cricket in his native Sri Lanka for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club.

Cricket in Afghanistan Afghan cricket

Cricket in Afghanistan is the most popular sport in the country, which is represented internationally by the Afghanistan national cricket team. The ACC Under-19 Asia Cup is a cricket tournament organised by the ACC for Under-19 teams from its member nations. It was first held in 1989 in Bangladesh where India won the tournament. The second edition was played after 14 years in 2003 in Pakistan where India retained their title. In the group stages of 2003 edition, Irfan Pathan claimed 9/16 against Bangladesh. The 3rd edition was played in Malaysia in 2012 where the trophy was shared by India and Pakistan after the final was tied. The fourth edition was held in 2013/14 in UAE which was won by India. The fifth edition was held in Sri Lanka in December 2016 and was won by India too. The sixth edition was held in November 2017 in Malaysia, which was won by Afghanistan by 185 run from Pakistan. The seventh edition was held in September & October 2018 in Bangladesh, which was won by India by 144 run from Sri Lanka. The eight edition was held in September 2019 in Sri Lanka & India retained their title.

Gyanendra Malla Nepalese cricketer

Gyanendra Malla is a Nepalese cricketer and the current captain of the Nepal national Team. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut for Nepal against Namibia in March 2006. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.

Naresh Bahadur Budhayer is a Nepalese cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Bahrain in November 2009.

Singapore national under-19 cricket team

The Singapore national under-19 cricket team represents the country of Singapore in international under-19 cricket. The team made its debut at the 1997 Youth Asia Cup, and has since played regularly in the Asian regional qualifiers for the Under-19 World Cup.
