Scott Bateman and Colleen AF Venable discuss that 'Every Day is a Damn Holiday' in a Scott Bateman cartoon.

Bateman 365 is a project initiated by Scott Bateman in August 2005 to emulate the idea presented by the 24 Hour Animation Contest on the scale of one year. It utilizes a number of characters Bateman developed for his syndicated political cartoons and other works, as well as snippets from life in New York City and audio commentaries from third parties.

The Three Bears are animated cartoon characters in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. The dysfunctional family consists of Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Junior Bear. The characters were featured in five theatrical cartoons released between 1944 and 1951.

The word "strategery" was used in a Saturday Night Live sketch, written by James Downey, airing October 7, 2000, which satirized the performances of George W. Bush and Al Gore, two candidates for President of the United States, during the first presidential debate for election year 2000. Comedian Will Ferrell played Bush and when asked by a mock debate moderator to "sum up, in a single word, the best argument for his candidacy", replied "strategery", thus satirizing Bush's reputation for mispronouncing words. The episode was later released as part of a video tape titled Presidential Bash 2000.

This is the first of several Bugs Bunny cartoon titles that refer to Elmer Fudd's speech impediment, with the names of Bob Clampett, Sidney Sutherland, and Carl Stalling, as well as the roles of Story, Supervision, and Musical Direction, intentionally misspelled in the credits to match the speech impediment.

Bugs Bunny and the Three Bears is a 1944 Merrie Melodies cartoon short directed by Chuck Jones and written by Tedd Pierce. The short was released on February 26, 1944, and features Bugs Bunny. This short marks the first appearance of Jones' dysfunctional version of The Three Bears, and is a parody of the old fairy tale, Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
