The Batplane, Batwing, Batjet or Batgyro is the fictional aircraft for the DC Comics superhero Batman. The vehicle was introduced in "Batman Versus The Vampire, I", published in Detective Comics #31 in 1939, a story which saw Batman travel to continental Europe. In this issue it was referred to as the "Batgyro", and according to Les Daniels was "apparently inspired by Igor Sikorsky's first successful helicopter flight" of the same year. Initially based upon either an autogyro or helicopter, with a rotor, the Batgyro featured a bat motif at the front. The writers gave the Batgyro the ability to be "parked" in the air by Batman, hovering in such a way as to maintain its position and allow Batman to return.

Batwing is the alias used by several characters in American comic books published by DC Comics. Both versions of the character are superheoes pattened by Batman, notable for their technological capabilities. The first Batwing is David Zavimbe, a Congolese police officer, created by writer Grant Morrison and debuting in Batman Incorporated#5 in May, 2011 before headlinig his own Batwing comic sries. This version of Batwing acts as one of representatives of Africa within Batman Incorporated, being known as the "Batman of Africa". The second iteration Batwing, Lucas "Luke" Fox, is a African-American mixed martial artist and genius who is the son of Lucius Fox, one of Batman's closest associates. After David retires from the role, Batman offers the Batwing role to Luke, whom is eager to accept a life of vigilantism despite protest from his father.
Green Lantern Coaster is a steel roller coaster at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The ride is themed after DC Comics' Green Lantern and is located within the park's DC Comics superhero hub. The ride is an El Loco roller coaster manufactured by S&S Worldwide, characterised by a tight circuit featuring a beyond-vertical drop and an outward banked turn. When it opened in 2011, it held the record for having the second steepest drop in the world among roller coasters, and the steepest drop in the Southern Hemisphere, the latter of which is a record it still holds as of 2020. Green Lantern Coaster officially opened on 23 December 2011.
