<i>Soundtracks</i> (Can album) 1970 compilation album by Can

Soundtracks is a compilation album by the Krautrock group Can. It was first released in 1970 and consists of tracks written for various films. The album marks the departure of the band's original vocalist Malcolm Mooney, who sings on two tracks, to be replaced by new member Damo Suzuki. Stylistically, the record also documents the transition from the psychedelia-inspired jams of their earliest recordings to the more meditative, electronic, and experimental mode of the studio albums that followed.

Nesrin Şamdereli

Nesrin Şamdereli is a Turkish-German screenwriter of Zaza origin and film director. She directed for the first time the film adaptation of her screenplay for Delicious (2004).

Peter Schamoni was a German film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed 35 films between 1957 and 2011. His 1966 film No Shooting Time for Foxes was entered into the 16th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Jury Grand Prix. Two years later he was a member of the jury at the 18th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1972, his film Hundertwasser's Rainy Day was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.

Next Year, Same Time is a 1967 West German drama film directed by Ulrich Schamoni and starring Ulla Jacobsson, Sabine Sinjen, Johannes Schaaf. The film won three German Film Awards. It was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival where it won the Silver Bear Extraordinary Jury Prize.

The 31st annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 13 to 24 February 1981. The Golden Bear was awarded to the Spanish film Deprisa, Deprisa directed by Carlos Saura. The retrospective was dedicated to British film producer Michael Balcon, as well a tribute to Turkish film director Yılmaz Güney who was a political prisoner at the time. The guest of the Homage was German film director Peter Pewas.
