Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort, BWV 126, is a cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach for use in a Lutheran service. He composed the chorale cantata in 1725 in Leipzig for the Sunday Sexagesimae, the second Sunday before Lent, and first performed it on 4 February 1725. It is based on the hymn "Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort" by Martin Luther, published in 1542. The hymn text at Bach's time also included two stanzas by Justus Jonas and Luther's "Verleih uns Frieden gnädiglich".

"Es woll uns Gott genädig sein" is a Lutheran hymn, with words written by Martin Luther based on the Psalm 67. The hymn in three stanzas of nine lines each was first published in Wittenberg in 1524. Its best known hymn tune, Zahn No. 7247, was published in Strasbourg in 1524. Heinrich Schütz and Johann Sebastian Bach wrote settings of the hymn. It was translated to English and has appeared in dozens of hymnals.

"Von guten Mächten" is a Christian poem which Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote in 1944 when he was in Finkenberg Konzentrationslager because of his resistance to the Nazis. It is his last theological text before he was executed on 9 April 1945. It became a frequently sung hymn, with different melodies, which has appeared in current German hymnals. The incipit is Von guten Mächten treu und still umgeben. The seventh and last stanza, Von guten Mächten wunderbar geborgen, has been used as a refrain in a popular version.
"Komm, Schöpfer Geist, kehr bei uns ein" is a Christian hymn in German for Pentecost. The text is a paraphrase of the Latin hymn Veni Creator Spiritus by Heinrich Bone. The melody is an adaptation of the Latin hymn's plainchant. It was first published in 1845. In the Catholic hymnal Gotteslob, it is GL 351.

"O komm, du Geist der Wahrheit" is a Lutheran hymn for Pentecost in German. The text was written by Philipp Spitta, probably in 1827, and published in 1833 in the song collection Psalter und Harfe. It is a prayer to the Holy Spirit for courage to confession in a time poor in faith. The hymn which first appeared without a melody, is now usually sung to the 1529 melody of "Lob Gott getrost mit Singen". It is part of the current Protestant hymnal, and of other hymnals.
Mona Seefried-Funck, professionally known as Mona Seefried, is an Austrian actress. She is most known for playing the role of Charlotte Saalfeld in the German soap opera Sturm der Liebe. She has played several minor roles in television and cinema during the late 1970s and 1980s. During the 1990s, she became a regular cast of the German television series Praxis Bülowbogen and carried her success with roles in series such as Marienhof, Vater wider Willen, and Bei aller Liebe, also in TV movies like the 1998 Christmas comedy Single Bells.
