Sitamarhi is an Indian city in the Mithila region of Bihar. It is the district headquarters of the Sitamarhi district in Tirhut Division. The city was named in honour of the goddess Sita, who was born in Sitamarhi in Hindu mythology.
Danapur is an Indian satellite town and one of the 6 sub-divisions (Tehsil) in Patna district of Bihar state. The population was 182,241 at the 2011 India Census. Bihar Ranji Team had currently played many Ranji matches on this ground. It is named after Syed Muhammad Moin-ul-Haq, an Indian Sports administrator and former principal of Patna College.

Patna, historically known as Pāṭaliputra, is the capital and largest city of the state of Bihar in India. According to the United Nations, as of 2018, Patna had a population of 2.35 million, making it the 19th largest city in India. Covering 250 square kilometres (97 sq mi) and over 2.5 million people, its urban agglomeration is the 15th largest in India. Patna also serves as the seat of Patna High Court. The modern city of Patna is mainly on the southern bank of the river Ganges. The city also straddles the rivers Son, Gandak and Punpun. The city is approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) in length and 16 to 18 kilometres wide.

Patna Metro (Patna MRTS) is a rapid transit system being constructed in the city of Patna, India. Construction will be completed over five phases, and the transit system would be owned and operated by the state-run Patna Metro Rail Corporation. In the first phase, five stations of Patna Metro will be operational by March 2025. Patna MRTS, constructed under a public-private partnership model, is estimated to cost ₹13,365.77 crore (US$1.6 billion). This cost excludes land acquisition cost, which will be paid for by the Bihar government. The first phase (consisting of the east–west and north–south corridors) will include both a 15.36 km (9.54 mi) elevated track and a 16.30 km (10.13 mi) underground track.
Hathidah Junction is a railway station located within the East Central Railway Zone in Mokoma, Patna District, Bihar. The station track type is a Double Electric-Line. The state of Bihar has a number of bridges, extending from few metres to a few kilometres. The history of long bridges goes back to the British Empire when the site for the Koilwar bridge was surveyed in 1851. Since then a number of small and large bridges have crept up. Some are even largest of their kind. Mahatma Gandhi Setu, joining Patna and Hajipur was India's longest river bridge from 1982 to 2017.

A power sub-station became functional in Nayagaon under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana in August 2020. An ITI is also planned in Nayagaon. Nayagaon is 12 km from Rail Wheel Plant, Bela, Dariapur Block in Saran. A stadium is being constructed at the cost of Rs 55 lakhs in the sports ground of Gogal Singh Intermediate College, Nayagaon. An inter-modal terminal at Kalughat, Nayagaon is being constructed as part of National Waterway 1 under the government's Jal Marg Vikas project.
Indu Bhushan Sinha was an Indian nephrologist and medical academic from the Indian state of Bihar. He is a former professor and head of the department of nephrology at Patna Medical College and Hospital. He has served as the editor of The Patna Journal of Medicine of the Indian Medical Association (1986–89) and is a life member of the Indian Society of Nephrology. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2008, for his contributions to medical science.
Rajiv Gauba is a retired Indian civil servant who served as the Cabinet Secretary of India from 30 August 2019 till 30 August 2024. He is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer belonging to the 1982 batch of Jharkhand cadre. Prior to his appointment as Cabinet Secretary, he was Home Secretary of India. The Patliputra Inter-State Bus Terminal or Bairiya Bus Terminal is an Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Patna, Bihar, India. It is the first ISBT of Bihar and is situated on State Highway 1 (SH-1) between Raman Chak and Pahari village in Patna. The Patliputra ISBT was inaugurated on 18 September 2020.
