Mili is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Ashok Kumar in lead roles. Jaya Bachchan received a Filmfare nomination as Best Actress, the only nomination for the film. The film was later remade in Telugu in 1976 as Jyothi starring Jayasudha in the title role. Yaragudipadi Venkata Mahalakshmi, known professionally as Lakshmi, is an Indian actress known for her work primarily in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. She made her film debut through a Tamil film Sri Valli in 1961. Her debut as an actress happened with the Tamil film Jeevanaamsam in 1968. Brahmachari (transl. Bachelor) is a 1968 Indian film. Written by Sachin Bhowmick, it is a G. P. and Ramesh Sippy production directed by Bhappi Sonie. The award was first given in 1942 for the films released in preceding year 1941.

Arundhati Holme Chowdhury, also spelt as Arundhati Holme (Hom) Choudhury, is a Bengali Indian exponent of Rabindra Sangeet and Bengali songs. She has worked as a playback singer mostly in Bengali-language films.
