Bill Stinchcomb (born June 21, 1963) is an American actor. He is known for his roles in films The Chaperone (2011), Battleship (2012) and The Condemned 2 (2015).
Stinchcomb was raised in Sarasota, Florida. He started acting after a casting director approached him while shopping in Target with his children in Shreveport, Louisiana. He has been actively pursuing the dream ever since. Stinchcomb is a retired United States Air Force B-52 pilot and combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. When not acting, Stinchcomb is a 767 Captain for Delta Air Lines, based in NYC.
Stinchcomb started acting after being approached by a casting director while shopping with his children in Shreveport, Louisiana. His first principal role was in the 2008 release "Private Valentine". He retired from the USAF Reserves after 20 years of service.
As a B-52 Aircraft Commander, he saw combat in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. When not acting, he works as a 767 Captain for a major airline in NYC. Believing "acting class is my batting practice", he studies whenever and wherever he can.

Barksdale Air Force Base is a United States Air Force (USAF) base in Bossier Parish, Louisiana in northwest Louisiana. Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 11 (HSC-11), also known as the Dragonslayers, is a United States Navy helicopter squadron based at Naval Air Station Norfolk as part of Carrier Air Wing 1 operating MH-60S helicopters deployed aboard aircraft carriers. The squadron was established on 27 June 1957 at Naval Air Station Quonset Point as Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 11 (HS-11) with Sikorsky HSS-1 Seabat helicopters. William Evans "Bill" Gortney is a retired United States Navy admiral who served as the sixth commander of United States Northern Command and the 23rd commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Paul Warfield Tibbets IV is a former United States Air Force brigadier general. He is the grandson of Paul W. Tibbets Jr., the pilot of the aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima in 1945. He was the Deputy Director for Nuclear Operations in the Global Operations Directorate of the United States Strategic Command, where he was responsible for the nuclear mission of the nation's ballistic missile submarines, intercontinental ballistic missiles, and strategic bombers. During his career he participated in Operation Allied Force in the Balkans and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and is one of the few pilots qualified to fly all three of the USAF's strategic bombers: the Rockwell B-1 Lancer, Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit and the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress. In June 2015, he assumed command of the 509th Bomb Wing. In July 2017, he became Deputy Commander, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
