Black Foxxes was well received by contemporary music critics. On review aggregator website, Album of the Year, Black Foxxes has an average critic score of 80 out of 100, based on four critic reviews. James Hickie, writing for Kerrang! magazine said that the album has a "relative looseness" and "is the sound of enjoyment being had by its creators — not necessarily in what they’re writing about, which is often no picnic, but revelling in the sheer liberation of creating exactly the music they want. And wonderful it is too." Hickie awarded the album four stars out of five. [7]
Steven Loftin, writing for Dork also gave the album four stars. Loftin said that with Black Foxxes "comes the need to resurface as something bigger and grander than they were before, without letting anything dictate just what they should be doing. Mission accomplished, in that case." [6] Dave Beech, writing for The Line of Best Fit offered a mixed review as far as the sound comes off on Black Foxxes stating "it might well have lost some of the raw catharsis harboured by those records", comparing the self-titled album to their first two albums, Reiði and I'm Not Well . [8] Beech concluded though that the self-titled album "showcases the band’s sheer talent, proving them as not just one of the best alt-rock bands around, but one of the more interesting bands around." Beech gave the album and 8 out of 10. [8]
Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up The Callous Heart the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.
Waterparks is an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas in 2011. The group currently consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Awsten Knight, backing vocalist and lead guitarist Geoff Wigington, and backing vocalist and drummer Otto Wood.

Safe in Sound is the fifth and final studio album by British rock band Lower Than Atlantis. Following the release of Changing Tune (2012), Island Records were streamlining and dropping artists who were underselling. Despite the album underselling, the group couldn't be dropped as the label had picked the option for their next album. The label offered the band the chance to take an advance and leave, which they subsequently did to build a personal studio. Here, the group worked on their next album, Lower Than Atlantis, which was released through Sony Music and supported by successful tours. In early 2015, the band were having discussions with Sony about their next album.

Hold On to Your Heart is the fourth studio album by alternative rock band The Xcerts, released on 19 January 2018 through Raygun Music. The first single, "Feels Like Falling in Love", was released on 3 July 2018, and the second single, "Daydream", was released on 15 September. The album was announced on 21 September, and the third single, "Hold On to Your Heart", was released on 17 November. The fourth and final single, "Drive Me Wild", was released on 12 January 2018, and features Will Gardner of Brighton-based progressive rock band Black Peaks on saxophone. Gardner also played saxophone on the album's closing track, "Cry". The album was the band's first to reach the top 40 of the UK Albums Chart, spending one week at number 40.
Future Dust is the second studio album by British alternative rock band, The Amazons. The album was released on 24 May 2019 through Fiction Records and Universal Music Group. An "Expanded Edition" version of the album was released digitally on 17 January 2020, featuring 2 new tracks and an acoustic cover of the track "Mother". These 3 tracks were released in the US on an album titled Introducing... The Amazons, which features a collection of tracks from the band's first two albums.

Eternal Blue is the debut studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox. It was released on September 17, 2021, through the band's own Pale Chord Records in partnership with Rise Records. Work began in 2018 but was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed the album release initially slated for April 2020. Spiritbox relocated to Joshua Tree, California, and completed the songwriting process for the album, which former Volumes guitarist Dan Braunstein and the band's guitarist Mike Stringer produced. The recording was finished by Braunstein in February 2021. Eternal Blue contains an array of metal genres and subgenres with electronic elements as part of Spiritbox's dynamic, while singer Courtney LaPlante employs both screamed and clean vocals.
Flux is the fourth studio album by American singer Poppy. It was released on September 24, 2021, through Sumerian Records. The album was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen and features a more organic sound in comparison to her previous album, I Disagree. The album received positive reviews.
Salem are a British punk rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2019, the group consists of vocalist Will Gould and guitarist Matt Reynolds. For live performances, the core duo are joined by bassist Ranny Ransom and drummer Aaron Graham. Initially conceived as a side project in the summer of 2019, Gould, Reynolds and Graham recorded five songs which they did not originally intend to release. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic meant that Creeper were unable to tour, the tracks were released as Salem's self-titled debut EP in 2020. A second five-track EP, Salem II, followed in 2021.
Truth Decay is the eighth studio album by English rock band You Me at Six. It was released on 27 January 2023, through the band's own recording label Underdog Records and AWAL in association with Rise Records.
