Blemish (album) 2003 studio album by David Sylvian

Blemish is the sixth solo album by David Sylvian. Following Sylvian's acquittal from Virgin Records and free from a record contract, he built a home studio, Samadhi Sound Studio, and recorded Blemish in early 2003. The album was inspired by, and documents, the disintegration of Sylvian's relationship with his wife, Ingrid Chavez, marking a turning point in Sylvian's lyrics as they became more personal and open and less oblique. Wanting to find a new musical vocabulary for himself, he recorded the album in a relatively quick, six-week duration, improvising the eight songs on the album as he went. It features guest appearances from avant-garde guitarist Derek Bailey, and Austrian guitarist and electronic musician Fennesz.

"Betcha Gon' Know " is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey, from her twelfth studio album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (2009). It was co-written and co-produced by Carey, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, James "Big Jim" Wright and The-Dream. Due to the success of her eleventh studio album, E=MC² (2008), and its lead single "Touch My Body", Carey had planned to embark on an extensive tour in support of the effort, but poor charting subsequent singles from the album prompted a halt on promotion by her label, Island Records. It was also rumored that Carey had become pregnant and miscarried, though she never addressed it until late 2010. She began to work on her twelfth studio effort, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel throughout 2009, and it was released later on in the year. In October 2010, Carey revealed that she had in fact been pregnant in late 2008, and that was the reason why tour plans were cancelled.
