USA Track & Field (USATF) is the United States national governing body for the sports of track and field, cross country running, road running and racewalking. The USATF was known between 1979 and 1992 as The Athletics Congress (TAC) after its spin off from the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), which governed the sport in the US through most of the 20th century until the Amateur Sports Act of 1978 dissolved its responsibility. Angelique Widjaja Indonesian tennis player

Angelique Widjaja is a retired Indonesian professional tennis player. She won the junior championships at Wimbledon in 2001, defeating Dinara Safina. She reached a peak of No. 55 in the WTA singles rankings in March 2003, and a peak of No. 15 in the doubles rankings in February 2004. She retired in 2008.

Masters athletics is a class of the sport of athletics for athletes of over 35 years of age. The events include track and field, road running and cross country running. Competitors are bracketed into five-year age groups. For international events the first age group is 35 to 39. Adult figure skating is a term used by skating organizations to refer to tests and competitions for amateur ice skaters over 21. The category was originally aimed at skaters who had taken up the sport as adults, but more recently has expanded to include adult skaters performing and competing at an 'elite' level, many of whom had skated competitively as children or adolescents. 2005 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters

The 2005 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the nineteenth season of premier German touring car championship and also sixth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. The number of race weekends were increased from 10 events in 2004 to eleven in 2005. European Masters Games Multi-sport event

The European Masters Games (EMG) is a multi-sport event, consisting of summer sports, that is held every four years. The European Masters Games are owned by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA), who also own the World Masters Games. The age categories vary depending on the sport but the competition is generally for people 30–35 years or older. The first games were held in 2008 in Malmö, Sweden. The European Masters Games are held once every four year, while the last games were held in 2015 in Nice, France, the next games will be celebrated in Turin, Italy, in 2019. The International Masters Games Association (IMGA), which is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, is the body responsible for the bidding and placing of the games.

Shanghai Masters (tennis) Tennis tournament

The Shanghai Masters is a professional men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, and held annually in early October at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in the Minhang District of Shanghai. The tournament is chronologically the eighth out of nine ATP Tour Masters 1000 events on the ATP Tour, and is the only one not played in Europe or North America.

The Canadian Masters Curling Championships are an annual curling tournament featuring Canadian provincial and territorial teams of athletes at the age of 60 years and over. The Across Canada Masters event began in 2000. Several Provinces have held Provincial Masters Championships beginning in the years around 1986. The Canadian Masters Curling Championships featured 10 end games in the years 2000-2006. From 2007, featured a switch to 8 end games and this aspect became and remains part of the standard game length format.
