BreakTudo Awards is a Brazilian awards show that happens annually. BreakTudo Awards is the first Brazilian award to award a K-pop group and it is one of the most voted awards in the country, in 2020 it received 94 million votes.. Anitta and Cardi B led the list of nominations with five mentions each. Anitta, BTS and Camila Cabello were the big winners, with four awards each.

Escarião was the host of the award ceremony and Anitta received the tribute "BreakTudo of Brazilian Pop Icon", in honor of her achievements in pop music in Brazil. Francinne, MTK, RIELL and Gabi Martins are among the artists who performed. On September 22, just a few days after polling started, the official Twitter profile of the award announced that the 50 million vote mark was hit.
