Gary Brent Smith (born November 21, 1973) is an American former professional football player who was a guard and offensive tackle for eight seasons for the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected in the third round of the 1997 NFL draft. [1] His son, Cole Smith, currently plays football at Mississippi State University.
