Brian Butler is an American artist, filmmaker and musician influenced by dark arts from Los Angeles, California. [1] [2]

Career

Butler is an artist and filmmaker who explores the dark arts that influences his art pieces, music videos and psychedelic short films. [3]

In 2013, Butler staged a performance of The Bartzabel Working by Aleister Crowley. [1] His film Babylon Working starred Paz de la Huerta and screened at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. [4] Butler produced several films with Kenneth Anger such as Night of Pan with Vincent Gallo. [2] [5] He collaborated with Anger in the band Technicolor Skull [6] and was his manager. [7]

Butler filmed The Dove and the Serpent in Normandy [2] and worked on the music video Modern Art by Black Lips. [5]
